Your POV
8:30pm

You lay in bed only seeing darkness, your eyes closed and your earbuds in, the only think you hear is your music, your room mate isn't home so it's silence for awhile.
Your room mate works as a prosecuter and she's gone a lot but you guys are still best friends. A smile goes across your face as you think of all the memories both of you guys have had.

The nice thought of old memories were interrupted but a door slamming open. You jump and yell at her " Nikki! What the hell?! nock before you come in!"
Nikki laughs and hops on the bed with you " soooo some of my friends are having a masquerade ball and I can bring a plus one! Can you be my plus one?" You sigh "I have no choice in this do I" "nope!" Nikki says while hopping off the bed "we can go out tomorrow before the masquerade and pick out some dresses and masks!" You nod your head "sure whatever you want" Nikki jumps with joy " well I'll see you in the morning! Nighty night!"
You laugh as she leave "night"

Next morning in the car with Nikki

Nikki looks at you "so when are you gonna get your drivers license so I don't have to drive you everywhere?" You sigh "I'm trying I have my permit so I'm working on it" Nikki smiles "well that's good!"

You both arrive at the mall and you go and look at dresses. Nikki chooses a short black cocktail dress, and you choose a long red dress that's sort of poofy but not too much, you also got masks to match the dresses. "Ok! Let's head home and chill and then head to the masquerade!" You both nod and hop into the car and head home

Time skip

You are sitting at your vanity looking at yourself sort of regretting this remember all of your insecurities " (y/n) let's go!" Nikki screams out side of your room.
You open the door and look at her "you don't have to scream so loud Nikki" she looks at you in awe "holy crap you look amazing!" You walk past her "thanks now let's go Nikki!" You say in a mocking tone, she laughs and follows you.

You both make it to the masquerade
You both walk in and Nikki starts waving at people, you now realize that this was a huge mistake cause you would just end up sitting alone cause Nikki will be off with her friends, you sigh accepting it "hey Nikki I'm gonna go get a drink at the bar" she smiles at you "ok I'm gonna do hang out with some of my friends! Don't drink too much!" "Mk" you walk over and take a seat at the bar and order a drink. You sip on it for awhile and scroll thro your phone.

It's been about 15 minutes of silence in your head until you hear a voice interrupt you from next to you,
"Fraülein you seem dazed, are you alright" you look next to you to see a man looking about the same age as you with long blonde hair in a bun and a black button up shirt with a mask. "Oh yeah just my friend dragged me here and I don't have anyone to talk to so I'm just playing on my phone and drinking" you say as you take another sip. "Well I can talk to you Fraülein~" you laugh a little "well aren't you sly? Sure it couldn't be too bad." You both make chit chat and laughing and getting a long pretty well. "So what's your name" you say with a smile "oh Fraülein don't you know the rules of this masquerade? Your not supposed to know my real name till the end of the night" you giggle a bit "well no one really told me about the rules"

You make chit chat and he stands up "well Fraülein would you like to dance?" You look at him "I've never danced before" he laughs and puts out his hand "well we're about to change that" you take his hand and walk out to the dance floor. He puts his hand on your waist and he walks you through on how to dance. While you dance with him you lock eyes with Nikki and she has the brightest smile and gives you a thumbs up. You blush and look down, he takes his hand and puts it on your chin and makes you look up at him "Fraülein don't be embarrassed" he says while smiling. You start to studder but then you decide to shut up.

After a while of dancing you both decide to walk out to the gardens in the back. You are both walking around and chatting, "you know this feels like a fairy tale." He laughs "I guess it is like a fairy tale" he says and sits on a bench, "look how big the moon is" you sit next to him "wow" you take out your phone and look at the time "wow it's already so late!" He looks at your phone "oh wow almost 12...you know what that means" you not your head and look at him and your taken back by how stunning he looks in the moonlight. "12 means you get to see who I am which is in 2 minutes" you look down "do you even wanna see who I am" he laughs "well of course Fraülein I know your beautiful!"

You both wait a couple of minutes and he turns your head towards him and takes off your mask slowly. You blush your whole face pink. He smiles at you "see I knew you were beauiful now what's your name?" You smile " I'm (f/n) (l/n)" he smiles "well isn't your name as beautiful as you Fraülein" you slowly reach for his mask and take it off and you stare at him for a minute "wait..." you take down his hair and put it around your shoulder "y-your-" he laughs "recognize me? I'm Klavier Gavin." your face turns red "you your- I-I love your music!" He laughs and puts a hand on your face "I'm glad to hear that Fraülein..." you both start to lean in and the gap between both of you guys closes and your lips meet ending the night with the perfect kiss.
