"hey, ima go over there with alex, nick, ricky, julie and flynn," reggie told gina as she sat down on the couch, "you wanna come?"

the girl looked over at his friends and back at reggie with a smile. she shook her head, "no, it's okay! i might go over to ash, kourt, red, and seblos in a minute."

reggie nodded his head and gave gina a kiss on the cheek before he left her alone on the couch. gina leaned back in the couch to take a break before she made her way over to her friends. ej watched from the other side of the room as gina scrolled through her phone. ej let out a deep breath before making his way over to the girl.

"oh my god," gina groaned as ej sat down on the couch with her, "what do you want?"

"i can't talk to you now?" ej scoffed. gina rolled her eyes and stayed silent, "i just wanted to see how you were doing...you and reggie seem... close?"

"if you wanna ask me something just be straight up, ej," gina bluntly said. ej nodded his head and let out a sigh.

"are you and reggie like officially together or?"

"why do you care?" gina asked ej, "aren't you with carrie?"

ej sighed and shook his head, "no... it's uh complicated. look gina, i really miss you-"

"ej, i'm over you," gina cut him off. ej got taken aback, "you ghosted me out of nowhere and started to prioritize carrie over me. you're just mad cause i'm with reggie now."

"i know what i did was wrong but-"

"no buts, ej," gina told him, "i'm sorry but i've moved on and i'm not gonna settle for someone who sees me as a second choice, later."

and with that, gina got up from the couch and made her way over to her friends. ej looked at gina with disbelief and shook his head. when ej looked away from gina, he saw carrie watching him from the kitchen. she had tears running down her face but she quickly wiped them away once her and ej made eye contact. ej stood up to go to her, but carrie quickly ran up the stairs and closed her bedroom door.

"fuck," ej muttered under his breath.

"ugh, i'm tired and feeling bit nauseous," nini told luke as they stood in the middle of the dance floor, "is there a room we could chill in for a while?"

"yeah, i'm pretty sure carrie's guest bedroom is open," luke told nini as he pulled her towards it. they made their way upstairs, hand in hand. ricky watched from the living room as luke and nini went into the bedroom.

"uhh..i'll be back," ricky told julie who was busy talking to flynn.

"where you going?" julie asked ricky.

"the bathroom, i'll be back soon," ricky told julie. he kissed her on the cheek and the two of them gave each other awkward smiles before ricky walked away.

"you okay?" luke asked nini as he led her to the bed. the both of them sat at the edge of the bed while nini held her head. the girl shook her head, "what's wrong, neens?"

"i don't know... my head just really fucking hurts," nini told luke, "can you get me some advil or something?"

"someone's a lightweight," luke joked as he stood up from the bed. nini laughed and lightly shoved the boy away.

"stop! i am not!"

"i know, i know jules-NEENS," luke quickly caught himself. nini and luke gave each other an awkward glance before they looked away from each other, "anyways..i'm gonna go find that advil for you, okay?"
