"heyyy," ricky happily said as nini got into the car. nini gave him a side smile and let out a sigh, "so so?? do i look good or what?"
nini's eyes looked down at rickys outfit and she gave him a smile, "you look great, ricky."
ricky's face fell and he titled his head at nini, "what's wrong?"
"nothing's wrong."
"you been so sad the past few days," ricky told nini in a soft voice. nini let out a deep breath and forced a smile at the boy.
"period," nini stated, knowing ricky would quickly end the conversation. the boy nodded his head and started the car.
"well maybe after school you and i can go to target, get some food & watch movies till you feel better," ricky told nini as he drove. nini smiled to herself and nodded her head.
"i'd love that."
"anything for my best friend," ricky told her. nini's face went blank and she forced a laugh.
"yess!! best friend... forever."
