Approval.
Justin's POV.
I woke up early the next day and got ready. I changed into some fresh clothes i had at Y/N's house and made myself look half way decent. It was barely 5:00am so i left a note by Y/N's bed saying ill be back later just incase she woke up and noticed i was gone. Once all that was done i grabbed my car keys and left.
I stopped at the flower shop and grabbed a bouquet of them. I tipped Rob,the cashier, a little extra. He's known me for awhile now. After that i hopped back in my car and drove towards the graveyard.
I was going to visit my mom.
I hadn't been able to talk to her because ive been so busy with Y/N. I hoped Mom wasnt mad at me. I left her to die alone, the least i can do is visit her.
When i got there i slowly got out of the car and opened the gate to the yard. It creeked so loud i thought it might break. But its been like that for 50 years. I closed it behind me and then turned around. Moans and groans filled my ears. Screams and tears scratched at my insides.
"Its not fair!" One said
"Why do you get to live and us just lay here to fucking ROT!!?" Another howled.
I hit my head a few times to get all the voices out of my head...wow that doesnt sound insane at all.
I closed my eyes and walked towards my mom's tombstone. The flowers i had left there last time were all dead and shriveled up. Probably just like her body. I wanted her cremated but i knew she'd rather have her body crawled on by insects then be burned. I kneeled down and lied the flowers next to the tomb.
"Hey Mom." I croaked out.
"I know youre probably mad at me. I havent spoken to you in a few weeks. But its a good excuse this time!" I paused trying to imagine my Mom's pale face smiling at me and nodding her head waiting for me to continue.
"Well uh you may or may not know but i have a girlfriend! And youre probably thinking 'Oh Justin dont get your hopes up on this one either' but she's different!" I chuckled seeing that ive said that before too.
"Her name's Y/N. She's really smart! And the most gorgeous human being ive ever laid eyes on. She understands me. She lives in our old house,in my old room too." I smiled at the ground.
"She never judged me or thought i was crazy! She says she loves me...and i love her too. I wanted you to know that. I hope you like her,i just want your approval." I stopped, trying not to cry.
"It's so hard without you Mom. Even after 55 years i still cant get over not being with you." Tears slowly rolled off my face.
"Anyway, her parents seem to love me! And her bestfriend thinks im a good guy. I hope this lasts longer than my other girlfriends. I dont think i'd survive not having Y/N in my life." I took a deep breath and laid down in the grass next to the tombstone. I kept yaking on about Y/N and how much i loved her. I just couldn't stop talking. But Mom listened and she approved,i could tell. Even though she's the only one who doesnt speak in this graveyard...you can hear so much of what she's trying to say.
I looked at my watch '8:34', "Well Mom i better get going. I dont want Y/N waiting on me all day! I hope youre doing well up there. God better be treating you right." I giggled.
"I love you so much Mommy. I'll see you next weekend. That's a promise!" I kissed the stone and then walked away smiling as i got to the car.
Normal POV.
You woke up to an empty bed. You were scared until you saw the sticky note on the end table.
"Went to go pay Mom a very long over due visit. I'll be back after Princess. Get some sleep. I love you with all my ghosty heart -Justin❤️"
You relaxed after you read that and went to go take a shower. It was only 7:00 but you wanted to be ready for went Justin got home.
By 7:45 you were all done and sitting in bed, under the covers on your phone. You wanted to text Justin so bad to see if he was okay but you didn't want to interrupt his conversation with Pattie. You'd feel terrible if you did that so you just waiting and eventually dozed off.
Justin's POV.
I walked in on Y/N all dolled up and laying in bed. Her head was hanging to the side,she was out. I sat down next to her and let her lay on my chest. I twirled her beautiful locks of hair in my fingers. She was so peaceful and gorgeous...it made me smile. About 15 minutes later, she woke up.
"Mmm?" Y/N looked up at me and rubbed her eyes.
"Goodmorning Princess!" I gave her a kiss,her lips tasted minty.
"But i thought you were with your Mom."
"I was i came home around 8:40. You were asleep so i let you lay on me. Now youre awake and its 9:04." I gave her a warm smile.
She giggled, "Im sorry baby! I wanted to wait for you but i guess i was still tired!"
"Don't feel bad sweetie." I rubbed her back.
Normal POV.
"How was she?" You held Justin's hand.
His eyes were warm and filled with love, "She's great! And she loves you!"
"She does?!" You were shocked and overjoyed at the same time.
"Yup! She told me!" Justin was so happy.
"Well i'm glad! I love her too." You kissed his cheek and he blushed.
"I'll tell her that next weekend!" Justin returned the kiss to your cheek.
"Let's go get some breakfast, huh?" Justin stood up and extended his hand out to you.
You took it and smiled, "Lets."
