A/N: I just wanted to pop in here and say that this chapter does have more swearing then usual, also has brief mentions of suicide thoughts. If this chapter seems a bit different it's because we are diving slightly more into the mental state and mind of Constance. So basically you get too understand more what she's thinking. Would just like to thank you for 50 reads, and thanks too my friends for all their positive comments 🥰. hope you enjoy!
The walk to the stadium took about fifteen minutes, Mr Weasley had insisted on walking instead of apparating so everyone could "appreciate the journey rather then the destination" or something like that.
Everyone was discussing about how they thought It came to be the same two teams where playing in the final as the last final, but Constance really didn't care she was looking around at all the tents and the lights that where slowly getting brighter and brighter as they neared the stadium. It was so bright that it reminded her of a disco ball and the way light reflected and bounced off it.
"I think they just got lazy and pretended to do the other games, then just shoved in the same finalists as last time" she heard Ron said who really didn't looked please.
She was hanging around in the back of the group, too fascinated to talk to anyone and also keeping attention to her feet otherwise she would probably trip over a caldron or unhitch someone's tent on accident.
But at that moment she wasn't paying attention to her feet enough she was gazing at the illuminated stadium then caught her foot on a piece of string and tripped over. She sat down on the grass and tried to undo what was actually a vine that had coiled around her ankle, but it was putting up a fight.
She started mumbling under her breath angrily as she finally got the thing of her ankle and she watched it slither under a tent, strange things they have in the wizarding world she couldn't help but think. She finally got back up again and realised everyone was gone, she couldn't see any of them in the distance because of how bright the stadium was, and she was just surrounded by thousands and thousands of tents.
"Shit, shit, shit" she mumbled as she started walking towards the stadium. She assumed that they would hopefully stop along the way noticing she was gone, but she wasn't a very noticeable person, so she had her doubts. But they would stop at the stadium entrance when they realised, they had a ticket extra and that she was missing, so she carried on walking towards the disco ball of a stadium with a prickle of hope in her bubble of doubt that they would be there.
She'd been walking for a little bit and noted that they probably hadn't noticed she was gone yet since she was hanging around the back of the group and she'd have too meet them at the stadium.
She had her eyes on her feet making sure that she wouldn't trample or get stuck in anything else when she heard a rustling noise coming from what seemed to be behind a tent. She glanced back for a second, then thought nothing of it plenty of people would be apparting at the last minute and still be in their tents so she carried on walking.
Then she heard it again coming from another tent this time she stopped for a second and eyed the tent suspiciously before she carried on walking starting to pick up her pace slightly, then she heard it again but at two different tents, one after the other she stopped on the grass and walked towards the tent.
Then thought better of it and continued walking, she heard various more rustling sounds, but it didn't really faze her she was focused on getting to the stadium on time and finding the rest of the group.
The rustling continued as she strode towards the stadium and it started getting louder she stopped in her tracks and looked straight at the tent that the sound had come from she really wasn't bothered to go see what it was so instead she just shouted at it.
