*phone ringing*

"Ugh! aga-aga ang ingay." I pick up my phone near the side table. When I saw the name of the caller, I answered it immediately.

"Hello Scarlett babe."

"Hello! Good morning lovey-babe."

"Morning too babe."

"I'll go to your office mamayang lunch. I cooked lunch for you Arthur." I smiled.

"Thank you lovey-babe. I hope hindi kita naistorbo sa work mo."

"It's okay. Basta ikaw may time ako. Muwah ahahaha." She laugh so loud.

"Not too loud lovey-babe. Masakit sa ears."

"Oh my bad lovey-babe. Sorry. Sige maraming patients na dito. See ya later. I love you."

"See you. I love you more." We ended the call.

*knock on the door*

"Good morning to our son." Itay said.

"Here breakfast kana. You're almost late anak." I look at the time and my eyes widened.

It's already 8:50 and I should be there at 9 am because I have meeting with Mr. Enomoto, one of our business partner.

"Sorry Itay napagod po kasi ako kahapon. I had loads of paper works kasi yesterday." He nodded.

"Naintindihan namin anak. We've been there too. Gusto mo punta kami doon ng mama mo to help you. OK lang naman sa amin. Kung nahihirapan ka edi kami gagawa ng iba sa office mo." I shook my head.

"Di na po. I can handle it. Besides, you and Inay should just relax because you've work so hard before and you need to treat yourself as well."

"Sure?"

"Yes Itay. Thanks for the breakfast."

"Here your dessert anak."

"Thanks Inay." They kissed me on the forehead.

"Sige na kumain ka na baka ma late ka pa." I nodded.

"Arthur anak naka open zipper mo." Inay said.

I'm running late. Oh no! What a great day to start.

"Arthur yung laptop mo."

"Thanks po. I need to go now." They nodded and wave goodbye.

I drive as fast as I could parang nasa movie na hinahabol ng mga kalaban.

"Good morning sir. The meeting will start now."

"You go ahead I'll follow."

I didn't expect that I had a lot of meetings today.

My phone vibrates so I opened it. Scarlett texted me.

"Babe I'm here outside of your office. Can I go in?"

"Oh babe. The meeting's not yet done. Sorry."

"It's okay. Wait na lang kita dito outside. Love you."

"Love you too."

It took 10 minutes before the meeting was adjourned.

"Lovey-babe!" She hugged me.

"Hey there. Sorry babe if you wait so long."

"Di naman matagal. It's okay. I understand. Kain na tayo kasi I know you're hungry na din." I nodded.

"So how's work lovey-babe?" I asked.

"Ok lang pero ya know maraming patients. And you?"

"Exhausting but it's worth it kasi nakita kita."

"By the way Arthur I have something to tell you."

"Ano iyon?"

"YES."

"Huh? Yes?" I raised one of my eyebrows.

"Sinasagot na kita."
