When you read books you kinda imagine yourself as the princess or the one who gets the guy, we all do.
I did.
That was until I met him.
Damien Montenegro.
Believe me when I tell you he is every girl's worst nightmare, but to me, he was a dream come...
I think I have feelings for Damien. Real feelings. And I'm scared, after Nick, I couldn't trust any other guy, but Damien is different.
"Earth to Sydney!" Ali said and I jumped.
"Alicia!" I slapped her arm and glared. We were sitting under one of the trees outside during lunch, enjoying the beautiful San Francisco sun.
"Ouch, Syd! What was that for?!" She pouted.
"You yelled so loudly!" I argued.
"Well you zoned out! I was telling you about a guy I met at the park who asked me out!" She glared back.
"Oh my gosh Ali, I'm so happy for you! You've been single since forever!" I screamed and hugged her.
"Now you pay attention" She murmured, "where's Helena?"
That was a good question. Ever since her date on the weekend she's been M.I.A.
"I don't know, probably out with her new beau" I said and nibbled on my fry.
"Speaking of beau, yours is currently approaching" she teased and maneuvered her fingers at my face.
"Shut up stupid" I said and my eyes were covered by a person behind me.
"Guess who?" Dami whispered into my ear. If only he knew that I knew it was him.
"Micheal B. Jordan, that hottie?" I played along.
He removed his hands and I looked to him, "You wish, unfortunately it's me, the less hotter version" He said with a sad look.
"No Dami, I was kidding, you're hot too" I said and covered my mouth as soon as I processed what I said.
"You think I'm hot?" Damien smirked.
"Ew no, this is my queue to leave" Ali said and got up.
"You're not going anywhere, sit the fuck down" I glared at her "And Damien, don't act cocky, you know you are"
He laughed and we talked about random things throughout Lunch before the bell rang.
"Okay I gotta go, meet me at my car when school ends, Kay?" Ali said and got up.
"Kay, have a good rest of your day" I got up as well and kissed her cheek.
"Do I get a kiss too?" Damien said and poked his cheek out.
"In your dreams" I said and threw away my leftovers.
"In my dreams we do more than just kissing" he whispered and walked off.
I gasped and became light headed.
This boy will be the end of me.

"What are you wearing for your date this Saturday?" Ali asked me. We walked into forever 21 and she has been on some sort of fashion frenzy.
"I don't know, I don't even know where I'm going. He just said to dress casual" I sighed and seated myself on a couch.
She turned to me and gasped, "What if your idea of casual is a ball gown?"
I shot up and slammed my hand on the couch, "That's what I said!"
She laughed and pulled out a black camisole and sized it up, "Can I help you out?"
"Please" I agreed with her and she screamed and clapped her hands in excitement.
3 hours later, she had found the perfect outfit for Saturday. Alicia was truly a life saver.
"Come on let's grab something to eat, I'm starved" Ali said and we agreed.
By we I mean me and my tummy.
We walked into the food court and instantly I was hit with the smell of fast food. Gosh I'm so hungry.
"Here seems like a good place to sit, let's go" she picked a booth by the window and we took our seats.
"You're getting a lot of stares Hun" Ali said and winked at me.
"Huh?" I said and looked around. She was right, a couple of boys were staring at our booth, "maybe they're starting at you, you're the pretty best friend"
And it was true, Alicia was so pretty with her brown hair, black eyes and model like body, she has so many boys approaching her but she always refuses them.
"Enough enough, I can't wait for Saturday!! I feel like Damien is such a breath of fresh air for you and I'm genuinely happy my love" she smiled at me.
If only she knew how much he meant to me.

Soon enough the week ended and Saturday rolled in quick. Damien said he'd pick me up at 6 and currently it was 5.30pm.
I took a shower, and wore the outfit, a white camisole with blue jeans and a grey jacket. I paired the look off with some white sneakers.

I left my hair in it's natural curly state and added a few hairclips.
There was a loud honk outside meaning Dami had arrived.
I rushed out of my house after saying a quick goodbye to Martha and Aaron.
"Wow, you look amazing" Damien said and hugged me.
"Thanks, apparently my favourite ball gown was at the dry cleaners so I had to settle for less" I said and we laughed.
"Come on, let's go" he said and held out the door for me.
Let's get this show on the road.
