When you read books you kinda imagine yourself as the princess or the one who gets the guy, we all do.
I did.
That was until I met him.

"Keep your eyes closed Princess" Damien said as we walked.
Technically he walked, I just tripped over certain things along the line.
"Are we there yet?" I said curiously.
"Almosssst" he dragged "There! Take off the blindfold"
I took it off as soon as he said it.
Oh. My. Everliving. God.
We were at the beach and there was a table with two seats it had the whole candlelight dinner thing going on. It like one of those movies!

"You did all this?" I gasped in excitement.
"With a little help from Alicia, Helena and my friends" he said, "But the location was my idea, this is somewhere special to me, I mean if you don't like it, it's cool we could always go and grab pizza at Chuck E Cheese"
I hugged him before he could say anything else, "Stop, I love it" I mumbled into his ear.
I stepped back and looked at the food, "Goodness I'm starved, let's eat!"
I sat down and looked at the view, "This is an impeccable view Dami"
"Yeah, I could say so myself" he said and I turned to him only to find him staring at me.
"Before we eat, I have something to tell you" He started, " I know that I've not known you that long, but ever since I met you, you've been such a great change in my life Sydney, I don't think that there's a day that goes by that I don't think about you, I want to be with you, I want to take you out on dates and take you home from the café, have lunch with you, and do all those corny things teenagers do, I want to sit on a couch and watch Avengers with you, or stay up with you because of your homework, I probably won't sleep over because your mom would kill me, all I'm trying to say is, I like you Sydney, a lot, and I want you to be my girlfriend"
I was speechless, I mean... I know I said I liked him, but I didn't expect him things to go this fast, I feel like I'm in a movie. A really cliché one.
"Sydney?" He asked worriedly.
"Yes" I said quietly.
"What'd you say?"
"I said Yes Damien" I yelled, " I want to be your girlfriend, I mean I think I think we're going a little too fast, but what's life without adventure right? Heck I like you too, I like your smile and your laugh, the way you listen to me when I rant on about my nonsense, you comfort me when something goes wrong, you're always there for me, you always know what to say, sometimes I wonder what I did to deserve you, I want to be yours"
"Say no more then, I promise to make you happy" He smiled.
"Yeah you better, or else I'll run you over with your Audi and sell your parts for ice cream" I smirked.
