I stare into his crystal blue eyes and my heart flutters.

"Here come sit down" he leads me to a large fairly flat rock, I follow obediently. I don't know whats happening, it's like I'm in some sort of strange dream. He hands me a small water flask and tells me to drink.

"What's your name love?" Killian's voice is soft and genuine.

"Asha." what am I doing?! I never introduce myself with my full name, I suddenly wake up from whatever dream state I was in "but everyone calls me Ash! Ash is my name." I feel clumsy.

"Well hello Ash" he laughs "What's the matter? You seemed to be quite upset."

"Oh, haha yaaaa. It's umm kinda a long story. That I don't even know." I mumble the last part to myself. Killian looks at me, searching my face for more.

"Well, I know all about those. How did you get here? This isn't the kinda place a young lady like yourself should be running around on her own." Normally this kind of comment would send me into a fit of rage but I guess I had already had enough of that for one day; besides it didn't feel as threatening coming from him.

"Oh I've been here a while, I assure you navigating the island isn't a problem." he smiles.

"Well, obviously you came from somewhere...but you did seem to be upset. Is it safe for you to go back there? If you'd like you can come with me and my brother." For an instant I almost say yes but deep down I know I can't.

"Oh ya, I'll be fine." I smile but inside I'm dreading going back to camp.

"Are you sure? Your not here alone are you?" he seems genuinely worried, strangely it makes leaving even harder. I don't even know him, not really.

"No I'm with..." I hesitate knowing Pan would be livid if I told the truth "Im here with my brother and his friends, we kind of live here" voicing that Felix is my brother wasn't nearly as bad as I thought though I still wasn't looking forward to seeing him.

"Oh! Well at least let me walk back with you, it would be bad form to leave a lady alone in the woods." he smiles.

"Oh that's not a good idea! I mean thats not necessary, it's not far from here." I start walking backward in the direction I came from.

"Well if you insist, it was nice to meet you Ash."

"Haha you too." I start walking away and fail to stifle a smile. I feel him looking at me from behind and I have this odd feeling, a mix of amazement, excitement, happiness, but also a strange sorrow like I'm leaving an old friend.

As I make my way back into camp Felix is no where to be seen. I enter my hut half expecting to find him there but theres no one. It's now early morning so I know I'll have to leave soon but I lay down to rest a little bit before I go. My mind swirls with the events of the last few hours but it's not long before I fall asleep.
