We make plans to meet back here at first light tomorrow. In the mean time I'm supposed to pry more out of Pan, I'm also gonna have to talk to Felix. I remember that I forgot to ask about the Dreamshade, I guess everything happened so fast that I forgot to mention it. I walk into camp and see, about fifty yards away, Pan is talking to Felix who has his back to me. Pan looks up when he notices me and smirks. Felix turns around and makes eye contact before I start walking to my hut. I see Pan whisper a few hurried words to Felix before they part ways.
"Ash!" I hear Felix run up behind me as I open the door. There's hesitation in his voice, like he's not sure if he's made the right choice to come talk to me.
"Hey" I turn to look at him and my voice is unusually mousey.
"Hey, I just wanted to make sure you were all right. I get it if you don't want to talk to me but I want to say I'm sorry. I'm sorry for.."
"It's ok" I look into his eyes "while it may not have been right to keep that from me I think I'm starting to understand why you did it." I feel a smile creep onto my face. Felix looks up and I motion for him to come inside.
"So I kinda cut you off earlier but what were you saying about us coming here?" He chuckles a little as he sits down in a leather chair and I sit, legs crossed, on my cot.
"Well..." his expression darkens a little as he dives right in "were twins, our mother was a barmaid our father a farmer. They met in a tavern when they were young and soon got married but father dearest couldn't handle the pressure of running his own farm" Felix's voice is harsh "he decided to go else where to find some work and return when he had made money. He left his wife broke with two small children. She had to go back to being a barmaid and barely made enough to get by. We scraped along, hoping father would return but he never did. You and mother were always optimistic but I gave up hope long ago. One night I was out on a walk when I heard this strange music. I followed it to a well right outside the village where there was a boy"

"Pan?" I already have so many questions but I decide to let him finish before I interrogate him further.

"Yes, he told me of a mystical land where all our problems would be solved. Where we wouldn't have any rules or responsibilities. There was only one catch, mother wouldn't be able to come with us. In my mind we were 18 anyway and she would be better without us, without kids to support she'd have more than enough for herself and get a fresh start. That night I came home and told you my plan but you didn't like it, you wanted to stay with mother. I couldn't bare to leave you, it would defeat the purpose."

"What did you do? How do I not remember any of this?"

"You weren't gonna come but I knew it would be best for you...I did what I had to" he looks ashamed.

"So it wasn't Pan who took me against my will to this wretched place...it was my own brother. But how do I not remember all of that?" I try to keep my cool.

"I just wanted you to be happy, the only way to really get a fresh start was for you to forget your previous life...Pan wiped your memory." I see Felix tense up like he's getting ready to be hit. I'm furious but I take a deep breath and am able to level my head.

"How long?" I'm staring at Felix but not really at him, more like threw him.

"What?"

"How long. How long have I been here" I cut myself short knowing if I said any more I would spiral out of control. Felix drops his head.

"I...I don't know for sure."

"How in the name of Hades do you not know how long you've kept your sister captive!" I bite my tongue.

"I stoped counting after 50 years of time in our realm. Time works differently here so it's hard to be sure but that was long ago." He's staring hard at me, like all of him is being forced out to a pinpoint. I clench my teeth and shut my eyes.

"Asha I'm sorry" his voice is quite.

"I umm" I clear my throat "I think I found my way off the island. The Jones brothers said if I helped them complete their mission and get safe passage home that I could go with them. Felix what you did was wrong, all of it...but theres nothing we can do about it now." He looks up at me.

"I could tell Killian all about you and if you help us I'm sure they would let you come too!" my voice is hurried and pleading.

"Asha no.." he shakes his head.

"Felix please!!! We could be a family, start over!"

"Ash I can't! Your my sister and I will always love you, everything I did I did to give you a better life, but I can't leave. Pan, he is a friend, a brother to me. He gave me a life I could never have had back home. He may not be the nicest person around but him and the others are my family. Neverland is my home." I look down disappointed.

"Hey, Neverland may be my home but that doesn't mean it's yours. I don't expect you to stay here just for me nor should you."

I look at Felix and he seems genuine but the moment doesn't last long, someones outside.
