Boundless: Epilogue

Training under Rati, Naina has learnt a lot and now has got a fabulous opportunity in Mumbai. Both Sameer and Naina haven't confessed their love yet due to mutual fear of their friendship breaking. They spend each day just replaying their moments together.
Getting to know that Naina would be moving to Mumbai and he wouldn't be able to see her makes Sameer sad but he also knows how wonderful this golden opportunity is to boost her career and hence decides to bear this pain of separation.

"She's coming back after 5 long years. I wonder how much she has changed or has she changed even." he fondly wondered, standing at the airport.

"Sameer!" hearing her sweet voice after ages made his lips curve up in a smile, a strange satisfaction engulfing his soul. He turned to see her coming towards him waving her hands. He was about to wave back when he spotted a man walking along with her. He frowned but kept quiet. By this time, she had reached him and immediately hugged him tight. He smiled and hugged her back.

She then broke the hug and called out Rohan. Sameer frowned looking at the young man.

"Rohan, this is Sameer my best and only friend. And Sameer, this is Rohan, my boyfriend."

"B.. boyfriend?" Sameer asked shocked

"Well, actually to be husband. We have decided to marry in some time." Rohan said and wrapped his hands around her waist. She blushed and lowered her eyes while Rohan kept fondly looking at her. The two lovers were so occupied in their moment that they failed to see the broken look on Sameer's face. Unable to take the sight infront of him, he just left from there.

"Nainaa!!" Sameer wakes up panting. What was that dream? That was so worse!! God he can't even imagine her belonging to someone else!! What if this becomes true when she goes there? No no! He won't let that happen. He can't let that happen. The fear of losing her makes him instantly arrive at the decision to confess his love the very next day!

Mixed emotions of delight and sadness engulf her even as she is packing her things. This was indeed a golden opportunity for her as not everyone were lucky enough to get this offer when they were just students! She had to leave for Mumbai. But the thought of leaving him and going is making her really sad.
That's when she decides that be it whatsoever the consequences, she will confess her feelings for him before she leaves. She decides to leave it to her fate - whether she will go to Mumbai with his love or with a broken heart!

The next day
A few hours before Naina's departure

Naina arrives at Sameer's house to bid goodbye and also confess her love. But when she enters the house, she almost dashes into Vishakha who seems to be exiting the house in extreme hurry!

"Vishakha aunty? What happened? Why do you look so tensed?"

"Nothing beta. I just have an urgent work to attend to. You go in. Sameer's at home. Bye!" Vishakha says and rushes out.

Still a bit confused by Vishakha's actions, she just walks in and moves towards his room. When she reaches there, she is surprised at not seeing him there. Looking around, she calls out to him and hears him reply from the balcony. She moves towards the balcony only to see him standing and looking at the garden outside. There are just a few mins left for sunset and somehow the sight of him, the garden and the orangish hues of the sky, awes her.

"Naina" she hears him softly say, making her eyes look at him.

"Hmm?"

"I love you!" he says leaving her completely surprised but also, equally touched and delightful.

" I love you too" she says, her eyes conveying to him the depth of her feelings.

He stretches his hand forward with a smile on his face. She smiles and places her hands in his. He gently but firmly pulls her towards himself and embraces her, holding her tight, conveying all the love he had for her. She too wraps her hands tightly around him and resting her head on his chest, hearing his heartbeats taking just her name, she feels blissful peace engulfing her.

"Your simplicity is what makes you all the more beautiful. And I wanted to make this special moment of ours just like you, simple, subtle yet beautiful. People commence new beginnings with the rising sun. But I'm doing so with the setting sun. You know why?"

She nods her head and looking at him says
" Because it marks the beginning of our relationship from a low, showing our optimism and belief in our love that we would rise together irrespective of the time and situations. Our beginning dosen't need the assurance of an external factor at deciding the course of our fate because we and our love is enough for that!"

He smile and says yes even as the two continue to look into each others eyes, conveying promises, confessions and feelings of the heart just through their eyes!

Destiny: Their relationship was something supposed to be boundless, but I have played my cards well and hence, they are bound to each other now, for life!
