She was shocked to see Divya, extremely shattered and devastated. Endless tears were flowing down her eyes and her hair was messy. She had a lifeless look on her face. Naina immediately got up, though with difficulty and hurried towards her.
Embracing her, a worried Naina asked
"Divya, yeh kya haal bana rakha hain apna? Kya hua? Yeh aansu...ek minute, yeh...KHOON?? Yeh khoon ke dhabbe? Tujhe kahi lagi toh nahi na? Bol na!"
Divya looked at her and said
"Maine use kho diya! Mera Harish! Maine use hamesha ke liye kho diya!"
Shocked would be an understatement, Naina too felt devastated!
"Tu mazaak kar rahi hain na? Harish Bhai aise hume chodke nahi jaa sakte! Tu..tu jhoot bol rahi hain!"
"Nahi Naina, meri baahon mein hi usne apni aakhri saasein li! Log sahi kehte hain, zindagi ka koi bharosa nahi. Jab jo milta hain, use apna lena chahiye! Hum agle hafte shaadi ka soch rahe the aur usse pehle hi...." she said and broke down crying. Naina composed herself and consoled Divya.
Somehow, she managed to make Divya stop sobbing and sleep.
She opened her eyes and was astound seeing him!
No, it can't be him, she tried to convince herself. It just cannot be him. Bas uski bahut yaad aa rahi hain isliye woh aise dikhayi de raha hain! But despite blinking many times, he did not disappear from sight!
"Sameer, tum sachme ho?" she softly whispered, her eyes filling with tears.
"Tum kyun chali gayi mujhe chodke Naina? Tumhe pata bhi hain ke itne mahinon se mera kya haal ho rakha hain?? Tum apne aapko manhoos kehti ho na aur tumhe lagta hain tumhare mere zindagi se door jaane se main khush rahunga na...toh yeh dekho! Hun kya main khush? Dekho meri taraf! Hun kya main zinda tumhare bina?" he spoke in a cracked voice, ignoring her question.
She looked at him, her eyes filled with tears. He had grown so frail. His eyes were red and puffy. He looked pale and lifeless. He had grown a beard. His face had lost the glow. He had dark circles as well, hinting at his many sleepless nights. Overall he looked tormented, lifeless and weak!
"Yun jaane se pehle ek baar mujhse baat kar leti! Kya shaadi ke waqt tumne yeh vaada nahi kiya tha ki tum apne saare dukh-dard, aashankayein etc mere saath share karogi? Phir bhi tumne mujhe nahi bataya aur bas chitti likhkar chali gayi! Kya main itna bura hoon jo tumne hamare bacche ke baare mein bhi mujhe nahi bataya?? Kya mera yeh haq nahi ki main mere bacche ke baare mein jaanu? Maanta hoon, sharab ke nashe mein aur gusse mein saari bakwaas cheezein bak gaya aur tumhara dil tod diya, par iska yeh matlab toh nahi na ki tum aise mujhe chodke chali jao!! Tumne sirf negative cheezein dekhi but did you see all those good things that happened because of you coming in my life? No! Ek baar, itna bada step uthane se pehle, ek baar soch leti!!"
She couldn't take it anymore. His words had a great impact on her and she broke down, crying.
"Mujhe..mujhe maaf kardo Sameer! Please maaf kardo! Uss waqt samaj mein hi nahi aaya ki main kya karun. Main...main..I was really hurt...Main kabhi tumhe chodke nahi jaungi! Mujhe maaf kardo! Main hamare ghar chalne ke liye taiyaar hoon Sameer, mujhe le jaoge na?"
"Ab uske liye bahut der ho gayi hain Naina!" he said
"Kya..kya matlab?" she asked, shivering badly.
"Tumne yeh ehsaas karne mein bahut der laga di! Agar tum tab laut aayi hoti jab mein hospital mein apni aakhri saasein gin raha tha, toh shayad jeene ki chaah laut ti aur main bach jaata, par ab...Ab hum saath nahi ho sakte Naina, kyunki saath hone ke liye, zinda hona zaroori hain, jo main nahi hoon! Tum jaan thi meri Naina aur tumhare bina main adhoora tha! Tum apne saath meri jaan bhi le gayi, kyunki bina Naina ke, Sameer ka koi wajood nahi! Adhoora jeena mujhse nahi hua! Kaash humare naseeb mein yun adhoore, ek duje ke bina jeena na likha hota!" he said.
She couldn't believe her ears. The ground beneath her feet seemed to slide. She could feel herself drowning, in grief and shock! All of a sudden, he vanished from infront of her eyes and she screamed
"Sameeerrrrrrr!!!!!!"

Okay, I know I told I would end the story in this part, but this idea suddenly flashed and I decided to leave it at this point. Next part will surely be the last part 😅
