Happily ever after

Chapter 23:

James p.o.v

We had just finished dance rehearsals and we were having a break, I decided to check my phone, when I saw I had a voice mail from Katie, I thought I better answer it, "james.....I've...I've...gone...into..labour...I.need...help" was all I heard before she hung up "omg" I screened out "I picked up everything and told the boys we had to leave now" they were very confused "Katie's gone into labour" I screened at them they looked at me in shock, and then we ran into the van, driving as quickly as possible trying to get back home. I rushed out the car and straight up to the front door, I slipped the key in the lock and burst through the door to find Katie unconscious on the floor I picked her up and lay here on the sofa as the guys rushed in after me "charlie call the hospital now" I demanded. I then told jake, reece, and barclay to get towels, pillows and hot water. I asked Chris to help make Katie comfortable while the boys grabbed the stuff, casey just stood there staring at what was happening. "We need to walk her up" Chris said, I nodded in agreement "how?" I wondered. Chris gave me and apologetic look before he lifted his hand up and slapped her round the face. I turned to him and was about to shout when I heard Katie... "Shit, what's happening" she's screamed "listen baby you've gone into labour, but down worry I'm here know" I said while kissing her forehead "Charlie when's the ambulance gonna be here" I called out, charlie walked in from the kitchen with horror written on his face "what's the matter charlie?" I asked worriedly "the ambulance won't be here in time, so...we have to help Katie give birth, they will instruct us through the phone and tell us what to do!" All the boys looked at one another shocked at what we have just been told, Katie suddenly screamed out in pain clutching her bump. The rest of the boys entered the room with the essentials in there hands. Once we had Katie set up and comfy, we needed to get ready to help her...
I sat bye her legs, telling her to squeeze my hand when she got a contraction. The doctor instructed her to push when she felt the urge. It wasn't long before the head was crowning and the boys were scarred for life, I hated seeing her in pain, but I knew it would be worth it when we had our precious baby in out arms. "Come on baby, u can do it, one more push and then it will all be over" I encouraged, she did what she was told and gave a final push and then our child was brought into the world, I grabbed a soft blanket and wrapped our new daughter in side it, I started to
tear up, and Katie was already in floods of tears. I passed the baby over to her and kissed her lips "I'm sorry babe" she whispered to me "it's okay, I love you Katie" we sat there in silence watching our bundle of joy wriggle about in our arms. All the boys took photos and them crowded round and took a selfie of all 9 or should I say 10 of us. The past wasn't important anymore, all that mattered was that we were all together and happy! It was only 10 minutes until the ambulance finally showed up, they said they didn't need to take us back to the hospital and left us with the birth certificate to fill out and the official form. I can't believe we have a family, Me, Katie and little Beth Jamie Graham, and we all lived happily ever after....
