It was the best weekend ever. I hung out with Brooke, and her friend Lily. We had a great time together, we went to the mall. We went to a couple stores, like Icing and Aeropostale. We each bought some new cute clothes to wear to school. The weekend went by quickly, and then it already was monday morning.
I was at school and saw Tanner once again, I smiled at him, and he smiled at me. I was happy that we were starting to slowly become friends. Thats when my smile melted away. Mrs. Smith walked in and started to talk to us, with a frown on her face.
"This is unexeptable. There has been a letter that was written to the principal, and it was written by someone from this class. Let me read the letter. Dear Principal Walken, This school is the worst school that has ever been created. All the kids are rude and disrespectful, and teachers are mean. Please try and think about changing some things about this school so that kids could enjoy going here. Also some teachers should try and actually taking showers and brushing their teeth, because they smell really bad sometimes. Thank you for listening, Rachel Waltz."
Everyone turned around to me with a smirk on their face, except for Brooke and Tanner. Tanner was surprised and had a frown on his face, while Brooke knew this wasn't something I would do. Who would write a letter like this to humiliate me in front of the whole class, saying that I hate this school. I love this school because I have great friends and teachers are so sweet. Everything in that letter was a lie. I had to find out who wrote it and make it clear to everyone that it wasn't me.
I started to get emotional, and ran out of the room into the bathroom. I didn't understand why it was always me who had terrible luck, and was always blamed for everything. Then I thought to myself that it was either Chris, Emma, or Olivia that wrote this letter. The first person that came to mind was Chris, but then I realized that he was already into enough trouble with his dad for what he said to me in the hospital, and for punching me. Then the next person that came to thought was Emma. She threatened me that I have to back off from Tanner because aparently he is hers, and she told me that I will regret it if I don't. Everything was all clear to me. I knew that it was Emma who wrote that letter to make it seem like I was a horrible student and person with no heart.
I was still in the bathroom when I heard the loudspeaker go on. The announcement said, " Rachel Waltz, please come to the office now." Thats when I knew the principal wanted to talk to me about the letter.
I walked out of the bathroom and went into the office wiping my tears from my face. I sat down and waited for principal Walken to come in the room. She sat down and started to ask me questions. She also asked me why i would write something this rude and explained to me that if I was unsatisfied with this school, then I should leave and attend a different school. I didn't want to leave this school, because I really liked it here, so I decided to stand up for myself and convince principal Walkens that it really wasn't me who wrote the awful letter.
I explained to her that I am a straight A student, so why would I write such a thing. And I told her that she could call my parents and ask them and my friends. I didn't think that Mrs. Smith believed that I wrote this letter either. I also mentioned that I thought Emma Jones would write the letter to humiliate me. I explained the threats that she texted to me and told me, so I showed the texts to principal Walkens and she was surprised. Principal Walkens agreed to talk with everyone that I had mentioned, and would tell me more information tomorrow.
I was forced to go back to class, even though I really didn't want to. I walked in and just went straight to my desk without even looking up. I was still upset that I had to have so much bad luck. I remembered that today my dad was coming from the hospital after being hit by a car. The phone rang in the classroom and Mrs. Smith walked to pick it up. She then said "Rachel you are leaving home, and remember to finish the work that you missed."
I saw my mom waiting for me with a frown on her face, so I assumed that she was informed about the letter that I was blamed for writing. We walked into the car and started to drive home when my mom started to talk.
" Honey I don't believe that you wrote this letter because your such a sweet girl, and besides you love this school. But who do you think would write this letter and sign it under your name?" my mom questioned.
" I think it's Emma. She has been threatening me about how I can't talk or even look at the new boy Tanner because he is apparently hers. So she probably wanted revenge after she saw me talking to him in class the other day." I told my mom.
My mom was in great shock but understood, and thought for sure it was Emma. I didn't worry about the letter the rest of the day, because I knew my parents would talk with the principal to convince her that I wasn't the one who wrote the letter. My dad came home finally so i cought him up on all the new information, and soon after it was time to go to bed after eating dinner. But then the visions came and this time it was the same guy but this time he was holding an address which was my dad's work address and was sitting in the same car as last time. I am starting to get suspicious.
