Forrest's legs were already cramping. When they first found the small nook in the ceiling, they believed they'd hit gold. Unfortunately for them, it had to be one of the most uncomfortable places they've had the displeasure of hiding in. She couldn't believe the two of them would have to spend the next eternity cramped up in this tiny hovel together.
The two were still trying to find a comfortable way to position themselves, which, fuck, it made a lot of noise. The two silently thanked the heavens that the seekers had yet to wander into the funhouse.
None of the other participants had been found by the two seekers who were lurking around. It had only been around fifteen minutes, she didn't know what she had expected, for this expensive ass game of hide and seek to only last what, a few hours? It was quickly beginning to dawn on her that she'd be here all day.

Karl expected Forrest to be far more of a talker. With how bold she seemed to be in their previous exchanges, he thought they'd have some nice small talk. However, that wasn't the case.
Forrest had fallen asleep.
Karl couldn't imagine being able to sleep right now. They were only an hour into the competition, and she was already sleeping. He grimaced at the positioning of her neck, no doubt she'd have a crick in it later on.
He decided her sleeping wasn't so bad, it gave him the chance to calm down. All her teasing comments from earlier had made him anxious. A pretty girl saying not-that-flirty-but-kind-of-flirty things had made his heart beat faster than he'd like to admit.
Like who just says kneel with no explanation???
Karl didn't understand the girl, but he supposed that he'd have plenty of time to get to know her.
