.。.:*☆ CHAPTER SEVEN ! ❝ OUR GOODBYES ❞
KARL WAS BEYOND SHOCKED, clearly freaking out a bit. He felt guilty, he thought it was a bit. That she would snatch the win and he'd act all offended, but she actually kept her side of the deal.
"Karl I can see you spiraling, this was my plan from the beginning. don't get your panties in a knot."
His brows furrowed, "I just don't understand it— $80,000– you gave up that over a stupid bet."
Forrest chuckled, Karl looking at her like she was a madman. "Karl I didn't need the cash," she paused for a moment, tucking a piece of hair behind her ear, "I'm uh, a trust fund kid. My family is well off."
Karl didn't seem too satisfied by that answer, gripping Forrest by the shoulder. "Cmon man, I-I don't need the money either, can't you just uh, let me venmo it to you?" he asked, scratching the back of his neck.
"Venmo?" she laughed, "You want to venmo me 80.000 bucks?"
Karls face flushed, "I— you get what I mean."
Forrest laughed again, smacking Karl on the back. "Lighten up buddy, you won fair and square. Chris would've seen me first if we waited for him to open the door," she snickered, "yknow, bc our compromising position and your uh, hand placement."
A flush formed on Karls face, glancing at Chris and Jimmy, about to defend himself. Before he could speak Jimmy interjected, "Well you two certainly got close, can't wait to watch the footage."
Footage?
Oh my god.
The footage...
Forrest glanced down to the body cam they had attached before the game started, she had completely forgotten about it.
She looked over to Karl, blush sprawled across his face as he looked down at his hand. "You have to cut some of that out." He spoke, somewhat assertively.
Chris laughed, "What? Don't tell me you two did more than hiding! Karl! You sly dog."
Karl bit the inside of his cheek nervously, "I- No, but some stuff can be uh, interpreted wrong. And you guys know how some stans can be..." he trailed off glancing at Forrest, he felt somewhat protective of her after their eight hours of isolation.
Forrest didn't know how to react, she watched Jimmy, Chris, and Karl chat about what specifically he wanted cut out, Forrest could hear what they were saying but she couldn't hear it.
