Chapter 4

Weeks had passed and here I am right now in front of DAWN's practice room. The manager ask for something and since the members are busy and I am the only one who hasn't been doing something, he gave me the task.

I was walking back and forth and sighed many times already, I've been here for like 15 minutes and I know manager-nim is now wondering where am I.

"You know you can just knock that door and open it," said a voice from behind. I look at my back only to see Keon sunbae smiling.

"Ke-on sunbae, mianhe," I said and bowed down.

"Ne, it's okay. What are you doing in there? I've been watching you for like 15 minutes already." He chuckled and I swear to God it's the most attractive thing I have ever heard today!

"I-uhm, manager-nim commanded me to give this to your manager. Well, since you're here, can you hand this? Please?" I asked him carefully. He smiled.

"You can join me inside, it would be nice if the manager see you handing that, right?" He said and smiled again. Holy moly, stop smiling!

"Y-yeah, sure hehe," I said. He opened the door and there I saw his members having so much fun. Kayden is also there, laughing. I sighed. Kayden again?

"Where have you been Keon?" Eros asked him. Keon just shrugged and chuckled.

"Anyways, I brought someone in here," he looked at the members and then to their manager. "Manager-nim, Era has something to give you." He said and smiled.

Keon is really something. He keeps on smiling. I looked at the members and bowed.

"Annyeonghasseyo sunbaenim!" I greeted them and smiled. They greeted back except for Kayden. Of course, why would he greet back? I'm jjst a stranger.

"Oh! Is that the papers that your manager has been saying?" I nodded and handed him the papers.

"Thank you," he said and smiled.

"Ne, I'll get going now. Kamsahamnida!" I bowed down again and they just nodded. I looked at Keon sunbae who's now looking at me too.

"Keon sunbae, thank you for helping me. I'll see you around!" I said and bowed to him and smiled. He also smiled back and guided me outside. 

I was about to go when Keon sunbae speak.

"Next time, you can just knock and look for me if you need something okay? Don't be shy, we're family in here."

"Ne sunbae, sorry about earlier. I better get going," I said and smiled. He nodded and closed the door.

I went back to our practice room and my friends are so noisy.

"Yah! What took you so long?" Hannah asked. I just laughed and shook my head.

"Something happened unnie?" Jinny asked.

"Ne, it was so awful, Keon sunbae saw me walking back and forth earlier in their practice room, it took me 15 minutes and then he was there the whole time, laughing at me!" I exclaimed. They all laugh.

"Yah! I was nervous you know!" I added and they laughed again.

"That's okay unnie, at least you made it!" Yewon said. I laughed.

"Can we practice now? I want to practice now," Zia said and we all nodded.

We started practicing and the dance teachers were all amazed by our synchronization. I was also amazed by it. I didn't know I can do such thing. Tomorrow, we'll start recording our songs for the debut and shoot for the music video. I am so nervous.

"Unnie? Gwaenchana?" Yewon asked and I smiled and nodded. Yewon always ask me if I'm fine or not. Which I find really sweet.

I visited my instagram and hold myself back from posting pictures. We can't post as for now, we'll be opening all our accounts once we finish with the debut, as for the moment, we will be using the groups instagram account.

"Next week, it's gonna be our grand debut!" Jinny exclaimed. They all cheered and laughed. I never expected that I'll be part of them. Though sometimes, I always feel that I don't really belong in this, and it's also unfair because they trained for like years and I only trained for a month.

"Yeah, we're finally debuting." Zia whispered and smiled. We all smile at her.

As much as possible, I don't really want to be emotional. I might gonna save it for the grand day.

"Unnie, you saw Kayden earlier right? Does he smile or notice you?" Yewon asked. I look at her.

"I am just wondering, does he still remember you?" Yewon added. I sighed and looked away.

"Well, things seems to change already. I don't know," I said in a low voice.

"That's bad, I mean, you've been friends for like many years and he just shrugged it off?" Zia exclaimed.

"I actually don't know what really happen, as much as possible, I don't want to talk nor think about him. He's out of my reach, he's not the same Kayden I knew, which makes my heart broken." I explained. They all went silent.

"Yah Era-ssi! You need to prove him wrong alright? Show him what you got!" Kahrel told me and pinch my cheeks.

"Don't yah me! I'm still older than you arraseo?!" I exclaimed and they all laugh.

I went back to my apartment and fixed all my things, I'll be moving tomorrow in the dorm. I'm going to miss this place. I am going to miss my old life.

Starting next week, I'll be an idol. Loaded with schedules and stuffs which I never imagined I'll be doing. I sighed and continued cleaning.

I opened the player and played music on shuffle. I was having some fun not until I hear Kayden's singing voice. I stopped and looked away.

Should I stop it and play the next song? Wait, why am I still affected? Era-ssi, you told yourself you're not going to think about him anymore right? Right! Now go back to cleaning and just listen to him singing. Nothing more!

His voice is really something. It's so warm and soft. It's also deep and can drive you to sleep. I smiled.

I'm happy that he finally reached all of his dreams. I'm happy that he's happy.
