[Thirty Three]

"You know...If I hadn't let him go on that trip he would still be here. Probably half way through wedding planning."

They were in the living room with Jungkook resting his head on Taehyung's lap. Taehyung was running his fingers through Jungkook's hair.

"No no, it's ok. He had to take that job, remember? It's not your fault."

Jungkook hummed in response and rolled over so he was facing the TV. Taehyung continued to mess with Jungkook's hair and got an idea to go up from under his hair instead of the top. When he did he accidentally grabbed a fistful of Jungkook's hair and heard a soft moan come from him.

Taehyung let go of that grip and went back to the top again. Jungkook has stopped crying as much now, took a month before he could. His company let him take a 5 month break and refused to give him work. While they were on the couch Jungkook got an idea and sat up quickly.

"Tae! Tae!"

"Yea?"

"I want to adopt."

"Ok, thank you for telling me. But you know this isn't my decision right? I literally just have to drive you there and back."

"Taehyung, I want you to sign off on the papers."

"O-Oh ummm, shouldn't you wait until you have a serious relationship again before deciding to have someone sign off."

"That doesn't matter right now. Please Tae, I want you to do it."

"Ok, I will. You want to go now or later."

"Let's go now, I just need to get changed first."

He got up and went upstairs while Taehyung laid back against the couch. He hates that he can't say no to him. Especially now that everything happened, he needs to protect him now more than ever. He turned off the TV and grabbed his keys.

A few minutes later Jungkook came back downstairs and fixed his hair. Taehyung stared at him in awe and only stopped because Jungkook waved his hand in front of his face.

Taehyung lead him out to the car and they drove to the agency. The two got out of the car and walked in, holding hands.

The second they walked in two men greeted them.

"Hello, My name is-Kookie?!"

"Wait, Baekhyun?! Oh my god it's been too long."

"Why haven't you called me then. We haven't talked in forever."

"I got busy with the comeback and a few other things happened."

"Oh right, I saw it...YOU!" He said, finally seeing Taehyung. "What are you doing here. I thought I told you to leave him alone after what you di-"

"Baek, calm down it's ok. We're good now....he's been helpful lately."

"Ok, by the way how's Jiminie doing?"

"H-He...."

"Is it ok if I tell him, I don't know if you wan-"

"No, I can tell him....just don't let go."

"Ok, I'm right here for you."

"H-Hyung he's.....gone..."

"He left you, I'm going to kill him."

"No, he's gone, gone. You know....like he's..."

"Oh...Oh god. I'm sorry Kookie."

"It's fine, just having a difficult time with everything....funeral was last weekend."
