[Twenty Four]

"Kookie, baby you know I love you. But what the fuck is he doing here?!"

Jungkook bit his lip as he helped Taehyung sit down.

"I was getting us something to eat and saw someone beating him in a alleyway. No matter how much I hate him I couldn't just leave him there."

"Fine, he can stay here for the night, then after work he WILL leave, understand."

"Hmm, I don't know Master~"

"Don't mess with me Jeon Jungkook."

Jungkook helped Taehyung up to the bathroom and put a set of clothes with a towel on the holder on the wall. Taehyung was holding his neck while he tried to get up. He failed and groaned when he hit the ground again.

Jungkook lightly laughed. "Do you like the pain or something?"

"No, I kind of need to stand though."

"Come here."

Taehyung slid his way over and sat down on the chair. He smiled a bit knowing that he was finally not on the ground. Jungkook laughed at the look on his face and got some of the pain ointment out for after he takes a shower.

"Ok, should be ready. If you need anything I'll be down the hall in my office. When you finished and are at least in pants then call me.

He went into his office and continued working on what they needed for tomorrow. The day felt too long. Jungkook looked at the ring on his finger and smiled before going back to work.

After around 40 minutes he heard his name being called from the bathroom and got up. Jungkook entered the bathroom and saw Taehyung sitting on a chair with a pained look on his face. Jungkook smiled softly and grabbed the rest of the first aid kit from the cabinet under the sink.

"You good?"

"Yea, I'm fine. Just got the shit beaten out of me but I'm perfectly ok..."

"Still haven't changed."

Jungkook kneeled in front of Taehyung with the things he needed near him.

Taehyung hissed at the feeling of the ointment on the cuts on his face. Jungkook sighed while resting the hand he wasn't using on Taehyung's knee and continued applying.

"Seriously what were you thinking, why didn't you try to stop him?!"

"Ow fuck...I tried to?"

"No you didn't. If you did try and you were still basically unconscious then you have obviously gotten weaker."

"I guess I felt like I deserved it...for hurting you..."

"You seriously keep surprising me don't you."

"Hey Jk?"

"Yea?"

"Why are you being so nice to me after everything I've done?"

"I don't know. Just feels like the thing to do I guess."

"Ok...I'm sorry..for everything."

"It's fine, not important anymore. Plus I have Jimin-ssi and you have whoever you're with."

"No one, I'm not with anyone."

"Oh? That's surprising to hear."

"Why?"

"Because in highschool it didn't take long after you being single for someone else to get with you."

"I haven't gotten with anyone else since you. I couldn't lower my standards enough."
