Bianca's P. O. V

Shopping with Derek was like shopping with an overhyped six year old. Annoying and adorable.

I swear everything we passed he came up with a whole ten paragraph essay on why we should get said object, and how it would benefit us in the future.

We were in charge of the black clothes and yet we've bought everything except said black clothes

"I think we should buy this light saber." He said as he got it off the shelf.

"Of course you do."

"So can we?"

"..." I hesitated for a second before giving in, "Put it in the cart."

I swear we stopped every five seconds, "You do realize we actually have specific items to get right?"

"Fine, fine." He jumped on the front of the cart causing me to roll his eyes, but I pushed him anyway.

"Should we get other colors too? Like not just black so it isn't suspicious?" I asked as we were about to turn the corner.

"Prob-"

He was cut off by an unmistakable voice with an English accent, I mean c'mon who in Flordia has an English accent besides that chick.

"Ok but why is this cute?" She asked holding up a tube top.

"K?" I raised my eyebrows.

Her and Carmen looked up at us, "Oh hey you guys what's up?"

"What are you doing here?" I questioned.

"We rode here in the car together," my slow, BUT AMAZING, but slow friend said.

"No, like...what are you doing on this aisle?"

"We're getting the clothes duh." Carmen said rolling her eyes.

Me and the "That was our job," Derek stated.

Carmen turned her head slowly towards Kainaz, "Dijisteis que ella nos dijo que nuestro trabajo era conseguir la ropa!" (You said she told us our job was to get the clothes)

"Lo sientooooooo, I didn't know either and I assumed this is what she wanted us to get."

"Wait." I interrupted so I could think.

"What?" Derek whispered after a few moments of silence.

"If we were both going to get the same thing...then what are we missing?"

Shit.

"Hold on, I'll call her and ask." Carmen said.

I nodded, "Good idea,"

We stood there for what seemed like forever even though it was just a few moments until Carmen groaned in irritation.

"She didn't pick up." She mumbled.

"Damn," Derek laughed, "pulled a whole Kainaz on you."

I-

He did not.

I didn't know whether or to laugh or roll my eyes.

"Oh hush," Kainaz said doing all of the above.

"So what are we going to do?" I asked.

"I mean, I'm sure it's not that important." Derek said trying to soothe our nerves, "we probably have one of whatever it is at the house or my hotel."

"You're probably right." We all nodded in agreement.

So what are we going to do to kill time?" Carmen asked

~

Five minutes later we were all in the parking lot, being pushed around in carts, hoping to not get arrested before we did anything actually illegal.

Derek was apparently a pro at this and Kainaz had done it once before with Sienna at a Kroger. The trick was run and push as hard as you could and once you built up enough speed you jumped into the buggy and rode it til it stopped.

Given, it didn't go as planned because the parking lot was slanted.

"KAINAZ WATCH OUT!" I shouted, but she couldn't hear me.

I practically saw the girls life flash before her eyes as her and Kainaz rolled downhill and into traffic. I was frozen, couldn't move, just watch as in the middle of the street the cart flipped.

FUCK!

~

"WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?!" Kobe yelled at Derek as we sped our way to the hospital.

"SHUT UP I'M DRIVING!" Sienna yelled from the front.

Kobe gave Derek a look that made you almost turn into a small pile of dust.

He clenched Derek's shoulder, "I'm only gonna ask you once..."

"Kobe, stop." Kainaz said from the back holding her arm, "You're terrifying Bianca."

She whispered the last part not wanting me to hear, but I did. She was right too, I sat in the seat with my knees brought to my chin and my eyes watering. Kobe let go of Derek, and turned to me, "I'm sorry."

I nodded, not saying anything in order not to cry, "Hey, B, I'm ok. I'm good, I'm fine." Kainaz talked to me quietly and I nodded. She knew, she was the only one that knew, no one else, not even Carmen.

"¿Estás bien?" Derek asked me, I nodded.

"Look I am sorry," Kobe apologized for a second time, "I didn't mean to scare you."

"It's not your fault." And it wasn't, it was mine. My PTSD is my fault; Derek getting yelled at was my fault; K getting hurt was my fault; him getting hurt was my fault.
