oikawa walks into practice portraying his usual sly and flirtatious facade, but iwaizumi saw a little crack in his walls, catching a glimpse of his actual emotions.
iwaizumi wanted to help his bestfriend, but then again, no one could.
iwaizumi tried, he knew what was happening when he called. but he didnt even try to stop him.
why? was iwaizumi being a bad friend? he questions himself that as well.
he wants to help him, but what could he do? he doesnt know the full story on what happened, and was he strong enough to help his friend out of this deep dark hole?
hes scared. and is that selfish of iwaizumi? he wasnt the one with the problems, yet hes the one thats afraid?
after practice, the two bestfriends are left alone in the changing room.
"oikawa."
the said boy turns to his bestfriend, giving him a smile, "yes, iwa-chan?"
"can you tell me the truth? i know you've been drinking. what's wrong? i can't help you if you don't tell me." iwaizumi looks at oikawa dead in the eyes.
"what do you mean, iwa-chan? i'm fine." oikawa gives a smile.
a smile that everyone except two believes
"bullshit."
the brunette looks at his bestfriend, denying and denying his questions.
"just admit it! you're not over her!" iwaizumi pauses and looks at oikawa, afraid he hit a nerve.
"i'm over her, okay!? I've been over her! i was the one who broke up with her, how could i be the one that's hung up!?" oikawa finally breaks his joyful shell.
"you know oikawa, fine. i won't interfere in whatever you're going through. but just so you know, denying it won't help you in anyway."
iwaizumi leaves the room leaving his bestfriend troubled.
