"you gonna be okay dumbass?" iwaizumi asks oikawa as they were going to their separate classes.

"ofcourse i'll be fine, iwa-chan." oikawa gives a smile.

iwaizumi scoffs, "whatever. see you at lunch." and takes his leave towards his class.

after oikawa called iwaizumi that one day, he decided to finally open up to his bestfriend after keeping all of his worries to himself.

iwaizumi was happy oikawa trusted him enough to share what he was going through.

he wasnt completely better. but it was reassuring to oikawa that he had his bestfriend by his side.

oikawa walked into class and took his seat. he looked beside him at the one seat that brought back too many memories.

the seat that used to hold the one person dearest to him. a person he longs for.

"tooru!" y/n gently pats oikawas head , which was laying down on his desk. "you're tired from yesterdays game hmm?" she places the milk bread she bought on the way infront of him.

"ah , y/n-chan , goodmorning...! " he sleepily mumbles as he hugs the girls waist , laying his head against her chest , listening to her steady heartbeat.

"did you sleep well last night?" she wraps her arms around him , enjoying his warmth in the early morning weather.

"hmm not so.. "

"why dont we skip class? lets go to the rooftop, you can rest there!" says y/n

"but what about you? im sure you have alot of work to do..."

y/n gives her big smile , "ill be okay! ill stay with you the whole time!"

"oikawa?" he looks back at front to see the teacher looking at him , "sorry." he apologizes and tries to focus on class

y/n used to be a loved student at aoba johsai. she learned how to give herself an image aside from being oikawa tooru's girlfriend. lots of people adored her for her bright and bubbly personality. the way she always saw the brighter side of things, the way she was always so selfless and had no problem helping others out. she was friends with everyone!

but then, her father had found a new job which caused her to move schools.

she never told oikawa where she was moving, if she was far or near.

does she think of him? does she talk about him? does she tell people about the good times? does she talk about how proud she if of him? 

no is the only answer oikawa can think of. he hoped she still had that big smile on her face, even if he wasnt the reason.

 oh how he wishes to see that smile once again. the smile that he caused to go away.
