— ❝ you said you care, and you missed me too ❞

"okay okay, i get it tetsu-kun." 

"no y/n-chan you don't! it was hilarious! and aside from that, being the good upperclassman i am, i taught them alittle something up my sleeve. " the girl laughs as the male continues his rants.

"expected nothing less from the kuroo tetsurou." she gave him a pat on the back as they got to her class, "see you later?"

"yep. see ya!" he have her a pat on the head and made his way towards his class.

"crazy cat." she chuckled and made her way to her seat.

its been a few weeks since moving, y/n liked her new school. she made great friends, which mostly consisted of the vollyball team. it seems thats the one thing that followed her to her new school, being friends with vollyball team members.

in all honestly, she still thought about him. is he doing okay? hows school going? is he sleeping well? eating well? drinking enough water?  all these questions ran in her mind.

sure, she was hurt by how he was. but putting that all aside, tooru was the love of her love. he was her person, her shoulder to lean on, her bestfriend. 

she wished she could go back to before he suddenly lost all his self control. it might sound selfish, but she doesn't wish that for herself, though for him. she tears up at the thought of how painful it must have been for him.

it wasn't just him she missed, she missed iwaizumi, one of her bestest friends, she missed hanamaki and mastukawa, she missed alot of people. she didn't tell anyone she was moving, she thought they would all hate her after she broke up with oikawa, but what she doesnt know is that they all miss their bestfriend as well.

"i miss you, tooru." she hugged him.

they we're so close yet they felt so far. they were together, yet they left like strangers.

"i miss you too y/n. you dont understand how much i care about you. but im right here aren't i? we'll be okay. i'll stick with you forever!" he gave her a smile and kissed her forehead.

if only she knew that was a lie.

"i love you, tooru. let's be together for a long time"

if only he knew a long time wasn't all that long.

"earth to y/n" kuroo waved his hand infront of her face, "class is done, i was waiting for you outside but you never came out. you okay?" he brushed her hair behind her ear.

"sorry tetsu-kun, for making you wait. i'm fine! let go?" she stood up as kuroo took her bag for her. "thank you." she smiled.

he smiled back and they made their way to meet up with their favorite second year. "kenma!" she grinned and hugged him. "yeah yeah hi y/n-chan" he rolled his eyes and hugged her back, slightly smiling.

"how was your day?" she asked him as they made their way to the cafereria. "boring. and everyone here is so loud. i just want apple pie right now." he made a grumpy face.

"oh! my mom packed you some, i just remembered!" she stopped kuroo and pulled it out of her bag, thanking him in the process. "here you go!"

his eyes lit up and y/n smiled in adoration, looking at him grab the food as if it was his prized possession.

"thank you y/n-chan! please thank your mom for me as well." he took a big bite as they sat down at their table, kuroo and y/n laughing as he ate his food cutely.

"ofcourse."

"oh!" kuroo looked at y/n, "i just remembered. we have a practice match soon, you're going right? please, you have to!" he begged her.

"ah well..." she scratched her head, "ill have to see with my mom... and if ill be busy that day. when is it?" 

"in two days, wednesday. and just tell your mom its with kenma and i, you know she loves us." he says proudly. 

"i hate to admit, but at times it feels like she loves you guys more than me." she sighs, "alright, ill tell you before the day ends tomorrow." 

kuroo smiles and nods.
