Hey quick update! I will probably not try to write an episode daily because I'm still working on ideas on how I want these to play out and I don't want to rush anything. At worst expect an episode every other day. Thank you so much.
The gems are watching Lonely Blade IV on Steven's TV.
Pearl: "Oh come on, this is ridiculous. Look at there form, this isn't even proper sword fighting.
Steven: "Yeah but its still entertaining."
Rose: I kind of like it actually."
Pearl: "Well if you ever want to learn proper sword fighting Steven, I would be happy to teach you."
Pearl looks up to Steven who has stars in his eyes.
Pearl: "Right now?"
Now at the ruins, Rose and Pearl are on the main field while Amethyst is on a cloud. Garnet is sitting as normal.
Pearl: "Now to set this up I will need a sparring partner."
Steven raises his hand but Garnet puts it back down.
Pearl: "Luckily I have the perfect candidate right here."
Pearl's gem glows as a holo-version of herself appears next to her.
Do you wish to engage in combat?
Pearl: "Let this be the perfect battle."
As she hands it a sword.
Commencing duel.
A long fight breaks out between both of them, Sharp, Quick, Fast movements and attacks from both sides.
Defense Rank: S.
Rose and Steven: "Go Pearl!"
Amethyst: "Go Holo-Pearl!"
Pearl loses focus for a second before her sword gets hit out of her hands.
Opening Detected!
Pearl slides under the sword and grabs her sword on the ground, before parrying the next hit, and thrusting the sword into Holo-Pearl, defeating it.
Match set. Challenger wins!
Steven: "Woo-hoo! Pearl that was amazing! Can you show me how to do that?"
Pearl: "Really? Well we should start with the basics."
Rose: "Make sure you stand back for this a little."
Pearl: "Ahem. Initiate Training Mode."
Training mode activated. Level 1 begin!
Pearl: "Now I want you to focus on what I'm doing Steven.."
Parry! Parry! Thrust!
Steven starts slowly losing interest.
Parry! Parry! Thrust!
Steven: "Aww cant you do something cool? Like the boomerang blade!"
Pearl: "Steven those aren't real sword techniques, Parry! It's about waiting for Parry! The perfect moment to-"
THRUST!
Rose, Steven and Pearl Gasp.
Amethyst and Garnet: "Oh, no."
Pearl: "I-I, oh, whoopsie daisy! Steven! Im gonna be just fi-
POOF.
Steven: "Nooo! I-"
Rose: "Steven! It's fine. Pearl is perfectly fine."
