It was now Tuesday, the next day, after lunch. Hermione had sat on the Gryffindor table with Ginny and Pansy in silence. Ron had tried talking to her to apologise but she just ignored him and ate. After lunch was potions and she got up with her friends, walking slowly. Ron trailed behind them, walking next to that Gryffindor girl.
"Hermione, are you okay?" Pansy asked genuinely, putting her hand on her back.
"You look sick. You can skip this lesson and I'll tell the professor? He's very understanding." Ginny asked kindly.
"Listen closely." Hermione said ignoring what they said. "This Friday, we're all going after curfew to the lake, and checking if Ron is going to be there kissing another girl." She instructed him, glaring straight ahead. Pansy and Ginny panicked slightly. So now she knew that Ron was cheating. They had to act like they didn't know.
"Kissing another girl after curfew?" Pansy said curiously. She covered her mouth in shock. She was getting better at acting normally thanks to Blaise and Ginny, and sometimes Theo.
Theo was so playful, funny and cute when he was flustered, she hoped that they'd become closer. She blushed slightly.
"Yep." She said popping the 'p'.
"How did you find out?" Ginny asked, giving Pansy a look that said 'act normal, it's finally happening!'.
Hermione didn't want to tell them what Malfoy had said and that would mean telling them they kissed. "I just have a feeling." And with that they arrived. Hermione had to sit next to Draco since they were partners, but today was just copying notes from the board. She took out her things slowly, trying to have her do something instead of looking at the door for Malfoy.

10 Minutes ago, at the Slytherin table.
"Why aren't they sitting here anymore?" Blaise said eyeing Ginny disappointedly. Draco looked down at his food, and saw Theo's body turn towards him.
"Say, Draco? Do you know why?" Theo asked sarcastically.
"Okay, okay, I may have messed up with Granger. But who cares? They're just girls-" Draco said.
"-girls who were actually interesting and smart to talk to." Blaise interrupted him. Draco couldn't disagree. They were intelligent and held a smart and interesting conversation well. He'd heard the three girls talk in very deep detail about a certain plant used for a potion, and how it was so rare to find them. None of them seemed bored with each other.
"So? What did you say?" Theo asked, and Blaise moved his eyes from Ginny to Draco.
"I-I called her a Mud blood-" Draco stammered and Blaise slammed his fork on the table.
"What did you just say?!" Blaise asked surprised.
Draco ignored him completely and gave him a shy smile. "-But hey! We kissed after."
His friends looked at him wide eyed, with open mouths. "Dude-" Theo said but Blaise came in.
"Did you apologise?"
"No, she said she hated me after the kiss then I left." Draco said looking at his friends. "-Was I not supposed to do that?" Draco asked and Theo nodded.
"You gave her a kiss, probably better than she's received from Weasley, and you just left her?! Without even saying sorry?" Blaise asked in an 'are you serious' voice. Draco nodded slowly, and Blaise shook his head disappointedly. Everything was ruined for them.
"No, no Blaise, Blaise!" Theo rubbed Blaise's back. "We can fix this!" He said and Blaise and Draco perked up, looking at him. "Draco, potions is after lunch and you sit next to her. Just tell her during the lesson that, y'know-" Theo winked. "-she looks beautiful. Trust me Drake.. All will be forgiven." Theo said dreamily moving his hand in the air slowly in the shape of a rainbow. Draco and Blaise followed it like puppies with their eyes.
Blaise nodded happily and took out his portable mirror, and opened it towards Draco.
"Now repeat after me. "I am Draco Malfoy, and I can do this." Now say it." Blaise said while Theo got out his pocket watch and moved it in attempt to hypnotise him.
"I am Draco Malfoy, and I can do this." Draco nodded in the mirror approvingly.
"There you go mate!" Blaise said shaking his hand.
"Now let's get going to tell the girl of your life that you think she's beautiful!" Blaise said, "Let's hope she forgives you." Blaise rolled his eyes. Draco gave him a glare. "After you called her a MudBlood." Theo muttered after, receiving a slap upside the head from Draco.
Theo rubbed his head glaring at Draco.

10 Minutes later, outside the classroom.
"I am Draco Malfoy, and I cannot do this." He said turning away from outside the door but Blaise and Theo held him.
"You're going to do this,-" Blaise said looking at Hermione.
"She's unpacking her things,-"
"Like a sloth, if you ask me." Theo said interrupting Blaise.
"Just go up to her, offer to help her unpack and say she's beautiful." Blaise said rolling his eyes at Theo.
Draco struggled and try to break free from the boys but they held tight.
"And make sure Weasley doesn't see you, we can't have him ending up in the Hospital, then she'll go and comfort him!" Theo said and with that the boys turned him around and pushed him in the classroom. He stumbled in but no one noticed as they were talking before the professor arrived. Draco saw Hermione and made her way slowly to her, in front of their desk. He grabbed the book she was looking at in her hands gently.
Theo and Blaise came in after and watched him from the front of the classroom next to Pansy and Ginny.
"What did you tell him to do?" Pansy whispered to them.
"Hey hey, Parkinson, we told him exactly what to do and it's gonna turn out just fine!" Blaise reassured her.
"Watch guys-" Theo said and the four watched.
"Do you need help with your books?" Draco asked her looking down on her. She snatched her book back from him.
"Do you think I'm not capable of unpacking my own
books?!" She said looking up at him, slightly angrily."Oh.. no." Blaise said putting his hand on his cheek, and it slid down slowly.
"Of course you're capable! I-I just wanted to help!" Draco stammered. Merlin how bad he was at picking up a girl he actually seemed to like. How did normal boys do it? He was anything but normal. He never had the time to focus on girls he actually liked.
If he even liked any before, that is.
"Well, don't." She spat and sat down as she set down her last book. He looked at the ceiling disappointedly and went around their table to take his seat, setting his books roughly on the table, and looked to the front.
"Ooof-" Ginny said and turned to the front. "That's pretty bad 'innit?" Blaise whispered and she nodded sadly. Malfoy looked like he was slightly nervous when talking to Hermione, not cocky, maybe he did actually want to help her.
Theo sat down close to Pansy and looked at the front. She noticed this but didn't mind, and turned to face him. He was sketching on his spare parchment.
"Your drawings are quite nice, Nott." Pansy said looking over his shoulder and he jumped slightly looking at her. He gave her a nervous smile.
"It's going to be a girl. I'm trying to draw different genders nowadays." He said shakily and she nodded.
"Why don't- Why don't we call each other by our first names?" He turned to her nervously and she looked at him slightly wide eyed. "-You know, since we're helping Granger and Draco?" He smiled goofily. She grinned at him.
"Yeah of course!" She told him happily and he sighed slightly in relief.
The professor walked in hurriedly and they gave each other one last smile before they turned to the front.
"Good afternoon, very sorry for my lateness, let's get started!" He gave everyone a wide smile and they returned it, getting their quills ready.
