3RD PERSON’S POV 

Wang Yibo was pacing back and forth inside his office and his personal assistant - Ji Li already felt dizzy observing him for half an hour.

"Why don't you just tell him?" Ji Li clicked his tongue.

"What if he doesn't feel the same way for me? What if I'm just making an assumption?" Wang Yibo asked back, nervously.

"Yibo, come on. Are you dumb or something?" Ji Li sneered, gaining a sharp glare from his boss/friend.   "Don't give me that look, before I became your personal assistant I was your friend. Your best friend. So tell me, don't you feel it too with the way he talks to you? The way he looks at you, and even the way he steal a kiss from you... trust me, he is still in love with you."

Wang Yibo is feeling restless because he was planning to confess to Sean. It's almost a year already that they've been seeing each other but Wang Yibo wants to make it official. He wants him to be his, officially. Though he knows Sean never entertained anyone else, his insecurities would strike him real hard. 

Wang Yibo just can't help it. He always caught other guys staring at Sean everytime they went out. 

"..but what if... he is not?" Wang Yibo mumbles. He feels like he is about to cry any second. He just can't imagine that Sean doesn't love him anymore. "What if he was just being good to me because he felt sorry towards me? And what if he avoids me if I tell him I want us to be more than friends..."

"If that happens.. then.. you just have to accept it. At least you let  go of those feelings you've been keeping since forever."  Though Ji Li looked very serious while saying  those words, deep inside he also felt sad. He knows how Yibo loves Sean. He wouldn't wait for 10ong years if he wasn't. 

"But I can't.. you know I love him. I love him so much. And you know how hard it was for me when he went away. And now that he is back... I don't think I can take it if he will leave me again. I'm so scared, Li. What should I do?" 

Ji Li heaved a sigh. He looks at Wang Yibo. Of course he knows everything his friend's been through that time when he was looking for Xiao Zhan. How broken he is everytime his search fails. How he cried looking at their photo from their prom.

Ji Li met Wang Yibo back at the university. Ji Li's brother works for Wang Yibo's Uncle, Mr. James Wang. And Mr. Wang was the one sponsoring his studies and one day, Mr. Wang asked him a favor - to look after his nephew. And he introduced the two to each other.

Though at that time Wang Yibo never talked to him. Ji Li didn't mind as long as he didn't bully him. He just kept following Yibo and looked after him from a distance and he often caught him talking to himself while looking up in the sky and he would cry. That time Ji Li didn't know everything but he didn't even bother to ask even his brother. 

One time when he was following Yibo, Ji Li came across the bullies and Wang Yibo saved him. That's how they became friends and he promised Wang Yibo that he'll help him look for Xiao Zhan. Ji Li smiled remembering that day.

"Hey you short guy! Where do you think you're going?" 

"It's none of your business. Let me through."

"What if we don't want to? What will you do? Hmm?" One of the bullies held Ji Li's shoulder, patting it then pushed him backwards. "Do you know how expensive this shirt is? And because of you little dumb, it got stained."
