25 - The Wedding

3RD PERSON’S POV 

After two months of preparations , finally the day has come for Sean Xiao and Wang Yibo. 

Haikuan and Zanjin decided to get married a year after Yibo’s and Sean. While Haoxuan and Jana decided to get married the year after Zanjin and Haikuan got married, though they got engaged first, they still gave way to two couples. 

Well then, Jana is still young and Haoxuan doesn't mind waiting for two years. And he is happy, finally his brother and bestfriend are really back together and are now getting married.

Both sides decided to hold the wedding at an exclusive hall at the biggest hotel owned by the Xiao's, as well as the reception. They all checked in the day before the wedding. Getting ready, the make up artist is just doing some final touches on Sean.

"Oh my god! My son, my eldest, and my little prince is so beautiful. No wonder that kid is head over heels in love with you." Li Nana exclaims upon seeing her son. Teary eyed, but her eyes are sparkling from joy.

"Mommy, don't say that. It'll look like Yibo loved me so much more than I loved him." Sean pouts as he looks at the reflection of his mother. Li Nana is standing behind her son and both of them are facing the mirror. 

"Mom, do you think we'd also end up like this if I didn't leave him?"

"Of course, darling. You two are destined to be together." Liu Lin intervened. "Stop thinking about those ten years that you were away. I understand you, we understand you. You were young back then.. and I think it's a good thing you left. Or else my husband would've..."

"Aiyyaa.. let's not talk about that anymore. What's important is that everything is cleared", Li Nana smiles. And Sean also smiles sweetly. "But since you mentioned it.. if you two we're together in those ten years. I would have been a grandma now." She commented, making her son blush.

"What are you saying, Mom. As if I can bear a child." Sean responded with his beet red face.

"Who knows? Miracle happens, you know." Li Nana smiles meaningfully, because Sean felt shy about his mother's statement, he lowered his head. That's why he didn't see the smiles on the two ladies' faces. 

Yes, indeed. Everything's cleared. And Yibo already knows how Sean knew about the truth behind their misunderstanding. Sean explained it to Yibo, and Yibo cried happy tears after hearing all out. 

After a few moments, everything is all set. Some guests have arrived already and the entourage is getting ready. Sean wanted the wedding to be simple and intimate, but because he is the first child of the Xiao's and the first to get married at that, Li Nana didn't agree. She was the one who planned everything, first hand. Yibo and Sean couldn't say anything anymore as Liu Lin also agrees. According to the two ladies, this is the first wedding of the next generation of Xiao's and Wang's so it should be big and grand. And both parties agreed to the western style wedding.

Wang Yibo, who was standing at the end of the aisle, kept looking around while fidgeting his fingers. Haoxuan, who was his best man, laughed at him, to which he answered with a sharp glare.
