Hikaru woke up before the sun's ascent sitting up in bed. Rubbing a hand over his face, he still couldn't believe what happened last night. His father, arranging a marriage for him.
People still did that?
The disrespect he was feeling rolled off of him in waves and he clenched his fist, feeling the urge to punch something. Doing so would only wake the beauty sleeping beside him however he realized as he looked down at her. Aija still slept soundlessly even as he reached over and stroked her hair.
No, he wouldn't dare to wake her.
Hikaru got out of bed and went into his closet to put on workout clothes. A jog sounded great and would get that pent up energy out. After donning a white sleeveless t-shirt and black basketball shorts, Hikaru put his shoes on and without a word departed from his house, leaving the door unlocked. Japan generally was a safer place than America and as such he didn't worry about leaving his fiancee alone. While the sun started to brighten the sky, a slow pace was started before Hikaru gave himself the okay to go faster. With each breath he exhaled, he tried to push out his anger at his father. Not only did Ryutaro disrespect Hikaru, but he also disrespected Aija as well and there was no way Hikaru would accept that.
He forced himself to think about something else as he ran down one of the Kamo river paths, noticing other early joggers and runners. There was no denying that a merge between two hospitals would be positive, but from what he knew Mizuno Medical seemed to be doing just fine without a merge. Until he figured out what his father was up to with Katsuya, Hikaru just couldn't bring himself to tell Aija the situation. There had to be a way to fix all of this.

Thus far, the days in Kyoto were very nice in Aija's opinion but she still felt like a tourist. She didn't know words, she hadn't gotten used to many ways of living there and she had yet to sightsee since for some reason Hikaru had been going back and forth to the clinic in the nearby district. She wasn't upset about it, of course, this was one of the reasons they had come down to his hometown, the other being to meet his family. But still, it was a little discouraging.
Sighing out as she got up out of the bed for what seemed like the millionth time, Aija made her way to the bathroom after gathering some soap and undergarments. With a smile she felt pride knowing how to bathe the correct way, remembering just how her fiance taught her:
There was a learning curve trying to remember all of the Japanese culture and etiquette being told to Aija and bath time was no different. She had no idea what a Japanese bathroom even looked like and in her naivety, had grabbed a towel and walked right in only to see Hikaru crouched down on a stool rinsing his body off with a detachable showerhead. Unable to look away, Aija watched with excitement and curiosity as the water flowed down his back and ass. Her eyes wandered upward to where a full tub was. Thinking that was for her, Aija removed her towel and made her way over to it, smiling from Hikaru's caring gesture. Hikaru's eyes opened with a start, hearing her footsteps and when he realized where she was heading, he stood up and grabbed her around her waist with one smooth motion. Aija froze and she realized that the bath wasn't for her after all.
"I'm sorry...I just thought..." Her voice trailed off as Hikaru kissed along her neck and shoulder.
He turned her around and brought her over to the stool before saying in her ear. "I'll teach you what to do. You just relax and learn."
