As we pull up to his house I'm in complete shock. I can't believe all of this has happened in less than 24 hours.
The car comes to a stop as he looks over at me. "You ready mama?" He spoke in a soft voice.
I nodded and he opened his door and came around to open mines. He led me into the house and I was in awe. His house was so beautiful.
"Your house is so beautiful. Who decorated it?" I asked while looking around.
"My mom and my sister. They always taking control of something." He chuckled. He showed me around the house and told me to make myself feel comfortable.
As we were sitting on the couch he taps my shoulder and says, "what's your name and how old are you?"
"Ummm my name is Zaniyah and I'm 19." I said nervously as I dropped my head while playing with my fingers.
"No reason to be nervous mama. It's okay." He says as he stared at me and lifted my head. "That's a beautiful name. I like that."
"Well I'm Dave and I'm 24." He says as he leans back on the couch. I sat back and thought about the name. It sounded so familiar.
"Hey Dave? Do you know somebody named AJ." I said hesitantly.
"Yeaa AJ Roberts? That nigga been trying to take my place for years now and I been waiting to take his ass off the map." He mutters.
I slowly sink into my seat. What have I gotten myself into? I got away from AJ now I'm in the same house with someone who wants to kill him. I mean I don't care if he kills AJ because of all the shit he's put me through I just hope he doesn't find me.
"Dave can I go take a shower?" I asked lowly.
"Yea mama come on." He leads me upstairs to his bathroom. He goes in his drawer and gives me some of his underwear and a T-shirt.
"When you finished you can hop in my bed and watch tv. Imma head out real quick." He says as he walks out.

I left Zaniyah as my house and went out to see gio. I had to tell him what's going on.
As I pull up to the trap I go in my office to see Giovanni in my office. He looks up at me and nods his head at me.
"What's up bro?" He says as he dapped me up.
"Mannn it's a lot of shit. You remember the girl who saw us kill ole dude last night?" I said as I sat down.
"Yeaa the lightskin one wassup?" He puts his attention on me.
"So I seen her ass in IHOP and it seem like she was kinda dodging me. So I followed her out and kidnapped her."
"Damn. What did she say?" He says as he sits up.
"She told me how she wasn't going to say anything and she was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. She had just ran away from her abusive ass boyfriend and she was homeless."
"Damn man. I know that's a sensitive topic you" Gio said. The reason why this topic was so sensitive to me was because my dad used to beat my moms ass and he did it all through out her pregnancy with me and even years after. She was always so scared to say anything because my dad always threatened to kill her.
When I was about 6. I told my uncle how I heard glass breaking and yelling and my mom had to go to the hospital because of her injuries. He could've killed my mom but my uncle came and killed him and got me and my mom away.
"Mann she at my house now. Speaking of her lemme get home to check on her and make sure she straight. You can swing through." I said as I got up.
(Back at home)
When I got back home I saw Zaniyah in my bed eating. When she saw me she flinched and jumped up.
"I'm so sorry. I was hungry so I ordered some doordash. I hope that was okay with you?" She says and she looked scared as hell. By that I could tell that dude used to beat her for every little thing.
"No mama it's okay. I told you to make yourself at home. I may have company coming over tho." I said as I sat on the bed.
"Okay I'll stay up here so I won't be in y'all's way." I nodded.
"That's fine. If you need anything can get me. Alright?" I say as I pull her into a hug. She mumbled okay back.
