Night of the comet

AMARA'S POV
I was sitting on the hospital chair waiting for Vicki to wake up.
My thoughts quickly drifted off Alice.
There was something about her that made me want to spend time with her.
She was beautiful and always had something to say to you.

My thoughts were interupted when I heard stiffiles and whimpers,
My head snapped away from the ciellieng and towards Vicki who was slowly waking up.
I stood up from the chair and squized myself on the small hospital bed.
I took her head and rested it on my lap.

" Shhh.......its okay I'm here," I said in a soothing yet comforting way.
My words did seem to comfort her in away.
When she was calmed down, I took it my que to rest her head on the hospital pillows.
As I was about to rest her head, she pleaded.

" Please don't leave me Amara........ he'll come and kill me and he'll do it," as tears slipped down her well sculpted face.
What did she mean by he?
I thought she was attacked by an animal?
Maybe it was the constant anesthesia that made her think that.

" I'm not going anywhere Vicki, I'll never leave you alone," I assured her with a smile dancing on my lips.

She raised her forehead to look at me, her hands gripping on my white dotted black shirt.

" Promise?" she asked.

" I promise," I said with a better reassuring tone.

Her head fell on my lap as her fingers drawed circular shapes on my lower part of my hip.
The made me giggle a little bit.

" Can ask you something," she mumbled on my thigh.

" Yes," I said while tracing my fingers on her orange hair.

" Why did you come? I mean I did treat you like a bitch,
Screwed your brother over and over, I was the one who ruined your life made it a nightmare by introducing you to drugs......" She while moving up from my thigh and locking her eyes with me.
"............and yet your still here promising me that you wouldn't leave, brushing my hair, so tell me why are you here and not celebrating your life free without a Vicki problem," she asked, now sitting on the bed not taking her eyes of me.

" Yes you treated me like a bitch, introduced me to drugs, screwed my brother over and over......" I said taking my hands linking them to hers, interwining our fingers.

".........but after everything that has happened, Vicki you are the only friend I have, the only one who understands me, you are always there for me and thirteen years of friendship is something I'm not ready to lose before I say I'm sorry," I said tears strolling down my face.

Vicki's hands cupped my cheeks whipping the tears which were soaking our linked fingers.

" I'm the sorry one," she said lifting my chin in an attempt to look through my eyes.
I slowly let her control my head.
I immediately ran up to her arms as I seeked refuge in her arms.

" Vicki I love you and I don't want to lose you ever again........ whatever harsh words we exchanged I take them back all of them," I sniffeled in her arms.

" It's okay....."she said pulling away " but there is something I need to tell you, The night I was attacked I wasn't alone......... I was with Tyler making out,"

Alice sits in history class, doodling in her notebook as Mr Tanner talks.

"Originally discovered nearly 5 centuries ago, it hasn't been over Mystic Falls in over 145 years. Now, the comet will be it's brightest tight after dusk during celebration. Are we bothering you Mr Salvatore? Ms Gilbert?" He asks seeing they're not paying attention.
They shake their heads and focus on the lesson.

Alice grince at them which makes Elena forrow her eyebrows.
The lesson ends and Alice walks past them without even throwing glances at the Duo.
When she arrives at the table, she ignores them and walks ahead to the bathroom.

"Hey," Stefan said using his unnatural speed, and speeding in front of her in the bathroom.

"Get out of my way," she said with venom slipping our of her tounge.

"What's wrong?"he asked camly.

"Nothing I just want to be alone,"

"By pushing me away?"

"The sight of you and Elena makes me sick," she said moving away from him.
