"Its okay Mr Tanner I'm Cool with it," he said and the whole class joined in laughter.

Amara surely you can enlighten us about the town's significant historical events," he asked which drove me out of my thoughts.

" I'm sorry I don't know," I said looking at him straight in the eyes.

" I was willing to be lenient last year for obvious reasons, Amara and Elena but those excuses ended in summer break," he said

" That's correct Mr?" Mr Tanner asked.
" Salvatore any relation to the original settlers here in Mystic Falls," Mr Tanner asked.
" Distant," he answered.

" Well very good except of course there were no civilian casualties in this battle," he said challenging Stefan's answer.

" Actually there were 27," a new feminine voice said.
I knew who that voice belonged to.
I looked at my right side and saw Alice grinning at Mr Tanner.

" Confederate Soldiers um- they fired at the church believing it to be housing weapons.
And they were wrong.
It was night of great loss," she said getting emotional.
Mr Tanner didn't bother asking her name, because I think it was pretty quite obvious that she was a Salvatore.

" The Founders archives are storing civil wars if you would like to brush up on your facts," she said, tending to annoy Mr Tanner.
Stefan looked at her direction shooting a concerned look on his face.
Alice just shrugged it.
The whole class was making sounds on how Mr Tanner was embarrassed by a sixteen year old girl.

The rest of the class ended quicker than I thought.
Maybe it was because I didn't pay much attention to it.
When the bell rang, all the students raced to get out of the class.
I took my belongings and stood at the door waiting for Alice to come out.
When she came out I motioned her to follow me to my locker.

When we reached my locker I started.
" I'm sorry for yesterday, I didn't show up,"

" No worries I get it family/ sibling quarell," she said while I put all of my books inside the locker.

" So there is this party in the Falls, which I totally think that you should come," I said closing my locker now facing her.

" I don't know I'm kind of a lonner," she said while leaning against the lockers .
I leaned in the same position and said.

" I think you need something like a party to get you out of the lonner zone,"

" Are you going?" She asked,

" Yes, my boyfriend Tyler, asked if I could be his date and I agreed," I said, she seemed down but she quickly hid it,
Maybe she didn't approve my relationship with Tyler.

" But that doesn't mean that I won't show my friend around," I said and she smiled softly.

I was at the party getting wasted when my eyes spotted two pairs of green.
I smiled as I walked over to Alice and Stefan.

" Hey you came," I said while Tyler walked to join us.
I looked and smiled while he interwined our fingers together.
Stefan scoffed and left us.

ALICE'S POV
I saw as Tyler pulled Amara closer to him and kissed her passionately.
I coughed and they pulled away.

" Oh sorry........ Alice this is my boyfriend Tyler," she said interwining their fingers.

" Yeah I met him the other day at the lunch table...... remember?" I asked and immediately her cheeks flushed pink.

Her blush was just as Katherine's when I used to complement her.

" Yeah I remember," she said still looking down, her cheeks burning up.

" Hey babe I'm going to get us drinks," Tyler said pulling her to a kiss.
She pulled away and answered softly

" Yeah sure,"
While Tyler was fetching us some drinks, Amara suggested to show me around the Falls.

" You know your kind of the talk of the town, Mysterious lonner girl, who has a super hot brother," she said smiling.

" I'm I?

I'm getting those high talks because of my brother, the super hot one," I said sarcasticly.

" You can't lie he is handsome and he caught even caught my sister's," she said.
I looked at her and saw a that something was holding her back,
She was sad.
I walked infront of her and stopped here from walking any further.

" Why are you so glum?" I asked and she just sighed and walked infront of me.

" I'm not glum, just trying to live Life the way it wants me to," she answered, emotions clearly showing in her face.

" Why are you letting life telling you how to live? you should show it whose boss," I said which made her chuckle.

" I'm just feed up with everything,
My parents died last spring,
I turned to drugs,
Caused my brother to turn on them to
Sacrificed my addicton so that my little brother can stop on them,
I was clearly wrong,
Found out that my brother hooks up with my best friend just so that they can deal,
And now he hates me," she said sadly.

" I'm sure he'll come around," I said trying to make her feel better.

" No he won't Alice, I know my brother and trust me he now hates me.
I want to go back to drugs more than anything but I have this thing holding my mind, making me not to,
It's like I have no control with my mind when it comes to drugs," she said tears strolling down her face.

It instantly hits me.

I wiped her tears, looking at her her brown eyes.

" You won't be sad forever," I said feeling myself lossing control.
My mind was not in control my emotions were.
She looked at me odly and asked

" Is everything okay? Your eyes are....." I didn't let her finish her sentence.
I understood what she saw and immediately I turned around refusing to face her.
I felt my veins retrieve under my eyes.
I had never list control but Amara made me loose it.
