" Once our home state joined confidency in 1861....." That's where I stopped listening to Mr Tanner's explanation on the town's history.
From where I sat I could see Elena and Stefan sharing looks.
When I saw Stefan smile at Elena and not me, I felt pain rushing through my heart it's like I hated Elena...... it was that I hated the way Elena stole the attention from me.
I mean I look exactly like her...... it's just that my hair is curled and its not brunnet like hers, mines black.

I just got more annoyed when they started gigling with each other.
I mean I was stupid to think that Stefan would set his eyes on me and not Elena.

The classes we're quick though and it was already lunch.
I took my lunch and headed to the dinning hall, until I heard,

"Hey Amara wait up ,"Tyler called as I sat at the table resting my food on it.

"What do you want, Tyler,"I asked not even bothering to look at him.

"Why?" He asked

" What Tyler? why what?" I asked

" Why did you leave after everything that happened?" he asked

"Do you think I enjoy seeing my best friend drooling all over the boy I have had a crush on?"I asked

" Amara I don't like Vicki at all.............. I'm-I don't like her at all," he said making my heart flutter a little

" Then why was she all into you Tyler..........see what I told you was true and I'm okay if you don't feel that way..........but I don't want to ruin our friendship so if you want to date Vicki it's okay ," I said sounding hurt.

"I don't want to date Vicki........all I want to do is this," he said and immediately smashing his lips with mine.
I didn't know what was happening so when I realized I depended the kiss.

After a while he pulled away while bitting on his lower lip.

" Tyler I-I............," I said unable to finish my sentence.
All I could here was his breath on mine and my heart racing.

" Don't say anything just kiss me," he said
I was in no control over my body, My emotions were now in control.
I reached out to his lips and kissed him passionately.

I held titely on his neck making him close to me.
While we were so cought up in the mood , we pulled away when we heard someone clear their throat.

" Is this seat taking?" a feminine voice asked.
I looked up and saw a tall silked skin girl.
She had short brunnet hair.
She was wearing a leather black and blue skinny jeans.
She had green eyes which resembled Stefan's.
She had a visible fake smile.

"No,"I answered wearing a fake smile too.

" Okay......"she said while taking a sit next to me.

" Amara..........see you later then," Tyler said stepping away from our table.

" Okay....... I'll text you then," I said waving at him.

" So you new?" I asked trying to start a conversation.

" Yeah transfer student," she answered while playing with her food .

" So what's your name?" I asked.

"Alice Salvatore," she said looking at me in the eyes.

" Salvatore........ As in Stefan Salvatore?" I asked surprised that this lady sitting in front of me is Stefan's Sister.

" Yeah hes my older brother," she said lowly.

" Oh.......well he never told me he had a sister....... although we talked for about two seconds," I said felling shy a bit.

" You've met my brother?" She asked.

" Yes in history," I answered taking a bit out of my food.

" Oh I have history after lunch........ maybe you can show me around sometime?" She asked smiling genuinely.

" Yeah but I have to go," I said standing up ready to leave.

" Okay see you around........?" She asked looking for my name.

" Amara Rose Gilbert," I said smiling.

" Amara! " I turned my head to be met by Elena.

" What Elena,"I asked harshly.

" Nothing I just wanted to why you stormed out of the class avoiding me," she asked sounding concerned.

" I wasn't avoiding you I'm just tired that's all............and when you reach at home tell Jenna that I'm not going to be able to make it for dinner tonight," I said clearly not in the mood to talk to her.

"Is everything okay..........are you stoned?" She asked touching my forehead with the back of her Palm.

" I'm okay Elena just turn it off," I said shouting while reaping her hand of my forehead.

" Amara," she said while I pushed her away from the way heading to the exit.

"His name is Stefan Salvatore.
He lives with his uncle up at the Salvatore boarding house.
He has a younger sister called Alice Salvatore.
They haven't lived here since they were kids, military family so they moved alot.
He is a gemini and his favorite color is blue." I heard Caroline tell Bonnie as I walked into the grill to hang out.

" You got all of that today?" Bonnie asked.

" No just between second period and third," she answered.

" Hey Amara," I heard Caroline say from behind me.

I was tired of everything all I wanted was Tyler and to mend my relationship with Vicki my best friend.

" Yes Caroline," I answered wearing a visible fake smile.

" Um uh Elena told me about your fight............ just wanted to check on you," she said.
Honestly I didn't hate Caroline but didn't like her too.

" Caroline Forbes if you come across my sister tell her to stop checking on me...... I'm okay I just need space and if she continues to rumor around that I'm back on drugs....... I will so go back to them and I'll be a heck of a fucking problem," I snapped at her.

I went to the liquor stand and waited for Vicki to finish her shift so that I could work things out with her.
Many thoughts were running through my head
Vicki...... Tyler.......they repeated in my head.

" Amara I heard you wanted to talk to me," Vicki said driving me out of my thoughts.

" Yeah.........um I know you like Tyler and I like him a lot....... you have been a good friend to me...... actually my best friend together with Tyler........so I wanted to tell you before you heard it from someone else...."I said not being able to predict how she was going to react.

" Let me guese your dating Tyler,"she said 

"Yes," I answered while looking down. The expresion she had was quite unexpected.
