Louis: At first, you’d thought that his sisters liked you. They were smiling and laughing and including you in their conversations. You could tell that his mum and stepfather were a bit unsure about you, but you expected that much. It wasn’t until you’d returned to London with him that he admitted to you that they hadn’t liked you much at all. “That doesn’t matter what they think, Y/N, because I love you.”
Liam: His mother was teary-eyed as soon as she saw her son but when her eyes fell on you sitting beside him, Karen Payne frowned. “Who’s this, Liam?” He grinned and introduced you, expecting his mother to welcome you with open arms just as she had with his past girlfriends. “Hm. Do you have a job, Y/N? What is it that you do?” She questioned you until Liam made her stop by telling her that he had already asked you to move in with him and she didn’t really get a say in the relationship.
Harry: You’d always thought that meeting his family would be alright. His mum and stepdad and Gemma loved you sure enough, but when he introduced you to his dad that’s where the problem arose. Des was obviously judging you from the moment you and Harry stepped into his home. “She’s a bit different than your usual girl, isn’t she, Haz?” You overheard his father say while they were in the kitchen before dinner. “Yeah, she’s different, but she’s everything I need.”
Zayn: Safaa pouted out her bottom lip, looking up at you and Zayn from where she sat on your sofa. “You’re telling me that I have to leave early because you’ve got a date?” She’d come over that evening to spend some time with her brother that she hardly ever saw. “Who even are you?” That question was directed towards you, her jealous eyes squinting at you. “I liked Perrie better. She was prettier and nicer and never interrupted our time together.” You took one look at Zayn and one look back at his baby sister before you agreed to postpone the date so they could spend time together.
Niall: He’d warned you that it could be difficult to convince his mother that you were the right girl for him. Your relationship had progressed so fast. After only a few months of dating, two months of being in the public eye, Niall had asked you to marry him. It was at that time that you figured you should meet his mother since you’d met his dad and brother. Maura’s first question for you both when he told her that he’d asked you to marry him was “Are you sure she’s not just using you for the fame and the money? She looks the type.” Her sweet face suddenly seemed harsh and you shied into Niall’s side. She didn’t like you, she openly disapproved of the quick route the relationship was taking, and you made it your mission to get Maura to like you before the wedding.
