My Lucky Year went gold, certified by the RIAA, and now I was here with my guitar being photographed for the cover. My career was in a renaissance of sorts, as the title track was being frequently requested on WKDH, the Top 40 station that was listened to mostly by teenagers and that without a doubt had the most influence on the charts.
On top of that, my album spent 4 weeks at Number 1, not to brag, and I had several videos making their rounds on VH1. My older fans were glad to see I was "back" and my younger fans thought I was a "new" artist! It felt great!
I raise my guitar above me, front and center for the camera's flash, becoming the photo that would grace this month's cover along with the catchy headline: The New Vegas Clearwater: Life, Love, And Her 'Lucky Year'
