game night

we were in the room of requirements. my friends and i discovered this room on our third year at hogwarts. since then, we've used it to hang out sometimes. this time, i decided to invite cedric, draco, fred, george, hermione, and luna to hang out with rebekah, jade, daniela, and i. we all sat down in a circle, and i had a great idea for a game we can play.

elle: alright guys, i got a game at a muggle store. it's called "twister"! it's super fun

i explained the rules and everyone seemed to be fine with it.

elle: alright i have two boards since there are 8 of us. in one it'll be draco, cedric, rebekah, luna, and i

cedric: ugh

elle: and in the second one, hermione, daniela, fred, george, and jade. lets get started! rebekah, you spin the thing for us and hermione you spin the thing for your group.

rebekah: alright um... draco, right foot to green. cedric, right foot to yellow. (well that's a coincidence lol the colors)
my turn.. right hand to red. luna. left foot to blue. elle. left foot to red.

pretty soon we were all in knots.

rebekah: cedric, right foot to yellow!

cedric was about to put his foot down when he fell over and i started laughing so hard i almost fell as well.

rebekah: elle, right foot to blue.

it was difficult to move my foot between the two other people so i kept stumbling.

draco: do not. fall over. not yet.

i stopped wobbling and planted my right foot on the blue circle.

elle: pfft haha what the fu-

draco laughed just as confused as i was.

rebekah muttered "left foot red..." and extended her foot but fell over.

rebekah: ugh.. luna, left foot green.

as luna went to put her left foot on green, draco said "look, a nargle!"

luna fell over, startled. i would usually say thats against the rules, but i just wanted to win.

elle: haha, yes!!!! so we win?

rebekah: wait... we never said we were playing in teams.

jade: oooooo...

elle: wha-

i glared at draco angrily, he did the same. we continued to play. i was sure i was going to win.

elle: you're going down, malfoy.

draco: is that so?

rebekah: elle! left foot blue.

i smirked and went to put my left foot on the blue when i fell in what felt like slow motion. i had been defeated...

jade: elle can you not with you dramatic inner dialogue?

draco laughed at me.

elle: i want a rematch!

draco: yeah? and i'll just keep winning over and over again.

rebekah: uhh guys we should probably get back now. it's saturday but it's definetly past curfew.

hermione: i agree, rebekah. also, fred won here.

i high fived fred while i said goodbye to everyone and went back to the gryffindor
common room with fred, george, and hermione.
