redric wedding

Rebekah's POV:

Alright, so i gave birth. i was pretty busy with the new baby, Ruby, and i was going to go to the gym but taking care of a baby is a lot of work, even though i did have Cedric's help and my friends came to help a lot. i also moved in with cedric into our new house and we were pretty happy.
-4 months ago-
daniela: all right, what make up are you going to do for your wedding?
rebekah: umm... i was thinking of natural but sparkly gold eyeshadow.
jade: we can work with that.

elle was holding Ruby.

elle: so the date. when will it be?

i looked to cedric but he just shrugged.

cedric: definitely in June.
rebekah: yes.

-2 months ago-
jade has taken me to the spa a lot and i've been taking care of my skin. i look radiant, if i do say so myself. cedric has been taking care of ruby with fred and george and im very worried that ruby is going to start pulling pranks when she gets older but oh well.

elle: alright, so how do you want your hair to be?
rebekah: hm... i know the perfect one.

- The day of the wedding -
I woke up super early. today was going to be the day i get married. and i have to get ready. i woke up and put on my bath robe. i saw jade, daniela, and elle coming in. elle and daniela were already in tears but jade was keeping it together.
elle: heyyyy bride!!
jade: ready for your ✨big day✨?
rebekah: i've never been more ready.
daniela: im so excited you're going to look so beautiful.
rebekah: does oliver have ruby?
elle: yes. draco offered to take her but cedric threw a fit.
rebekah: oh my lord- okay let's get ready.

i got my makeup done and then i put on my dress. then i got my hair done.

the other girls got ready quicker than me and jade stayed with me but elle went to get draco and daniela went to get ruby from oliver. i was scared i was going to have cold feet, but i didn't. i love cedric with me entire life and soul and i fantasized about marrying him ever since i met him. he's my person, my family. i was going to cry but i held it in because i had makeup. i went with jade to the forest that we were going to do my wedding in. the trees arched and left a space in the middle, almost if they knew that that space would be filled with love today.

Cedric's POV:
i put on my suit and combed my hair. i was with fred, george, and my friends ernie and justin.

ernie: you finally got the girl, huh cedric?
cedric: yeah.. i did.
justin: i remember when we would talk to you and everything would be about how in love you are with rebekah.
fred: save it for the speech, justin.
ernie: any way you can set me up with your sister, ced?
cedric: as much as i hate it she has a boyfriend. and you're not any better.
george: you nervous?
cedric: a little. but we love each other. and i've been waiting for today forever.
we went to the forest decorated in white for our wedding. i saw rebekah's family there along with mine. i walked with my mom to the arc.
allison: you did it, sweetheart.
cedric: i did it mom.
i stood on one side and waited. my mom sat down. behind me stood ernie, my best man. then i saw them walk in. rebekah's bridesmaids. first my sister, then jade, and then daniela, the maid of honor, carrying my daughter ruby in a white stroller helping her throw out the flowers.
then i saw her.
i saw her walking down the aisle with her father and i couldn't help but tear up. she looked so beautiful, and i realized i was going to grow old with her, and i felt in pure bliss. i was going to marry her surrounded by nature. she stood next to me as her father went to sit back down. i couldn't keep my eyes off of her. then i looked and saw all my friends, my family... and she was the star of it all.

Rebekah's POV:
this seemed like a dream. but it wasn't. it was real.
cedric: you look beautiful.
rebekah: you look- hey. don't cry!
i laughed and wiped his tears, but i was getting emotional too. this ceremony seemed like it was taking forever, but it was finally time to say our vows.
cedric: Rebekah I remember the first time I met you, we became friends and I remember my friends would always embarrass me whenever I was around you. I remember I would always ask Elle for advice on asking you out cause I was scared you wouldn't like me. My mom once told me that one day I would fall madly in love with someone, and I did. It was you. Now here we are and honestly I can't imagine life without you Rebekah. I love you and Ruby so much, I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you.
rebekah: Cedric, you were always my crush since day 1. I always had the fear you never liked me but the day you asked me out to the yule ball I knew that I had fallen for you. You are one of the best things that have ever happened in my life. I love you so much there is literally not one single word that can describe the love I have for you. I can't wait to raise our little family, grow old with you, and spend the rest of my life with you and Ruby.

"Rebekah Wood. do you take cedric to be your lawfully wedded husband?"
rebekah: i do.
"cedric diggory. do you take rebekah to be your lawfully wedded wife?"
cedric: i do.
"the rings."
then i saw elle whistle and doves came in carrying our wedding rings. we put them on each other's fingers.
"you may now kiss the bride."
and then we kissed. it was more passionate than ever before. all the feelings of bliss and happiness and affection combined in this moment we shared. everyone clapped for us. we put our foreheads together and smiled before walking back down the aisle everyone sorrounding us. we went to the stage and had our first dance. the song we chose was Hunger by Ross Copperman.

after our first dance i took ruby and danced with her in my arms. then we went to have the after party but first we had to eat. we had all kinds of things in our banquet. then, daniela stood up to make a toast as my maid of honor.
daniela: as the godmother to your daughter, i can say that i am completely astonished with the love you two share. you are truly perfect for each other and have made such a loving family, something that we all aspire to do.
everyone clapped for her and ernie got up to make a speech.
ernie: congratulations to the newlyweds. i just want to say, that it was an honor to see how your relationship grew. i remember, in our first year at hogwarts how desperately cedric wanted to be with elle's new friend. and now he has a daughter with her and today he got married. so.. congratulations to both of you.
then we ate and danced some more.
rebekah: GUYSS IM GONNA THROW THE BOUQUET.
all the girls stood behind me. hermione almost caught it, but elle had her wine in her hand and caught it without looking at it. draco's eyes widened.
and that's how i spent the happiest day of my life. and guess what? HONEYMOON IN BORA BORAAAA
