"They're just voices. Yet, when I hear them, I don't feel sad or alone anymore." If only he had known they were going to stay. His name? Well, quite simple. His name is Eri Sylvie, he is usually referred to by Doctor Eri or Father Eri. Although, whichever way you refer to him. Please be mostly aware that this man is neither a licensed doctor or even a priest to be calling father. He was not going in any direction to be a priest and his license for medicine had been revoked a couple of years ago. Not his fault, though.
He had started experimenting on himself, as he had not wanted to test anything on others. However, long before any of this chaos though, he was merely and only attempting to cure something that had affected everyone around him.
Some could say he was... successful? Successful in its own little... tormenting abnormal, and permanent certain type of ways.
But, how so? How could a kid, who grew up during the plague times, suddenly be oh so perfect? Without any ailment? You can trust anyone when they say that Doctor Eri Sylvie was now nothing except perfect. After trial and error on himself, he wasn't so perfect...
He was most definitely still sick. But not anything physical. He held only mental trauma by the time he met Cartyr. Nothing to little. Eri Sylvie came PACKING with a whole lot of bad mental disorders and trauma. One could only call him somewhat human as his humanity had been stripped away from him years ago and no human could survive what he has been through.
The voices in his head do have different emotions and individual things that separate them. Not all voices are cruel, some are nice. Some are wise. Some are manipulative, and some are even smart. However, the majority are weighed out by the negative voices.
Eri, in times of the rough, did take in a apprentice... Their name stays hidden. Only Cartyr and Eri know of it. For now, they like to be called "Rae." Their age is around 16-19, and not much is fully known of them. A mysterious apprentice? Seemed quite fitting for Eri. What is known however is that Rae grew up in a foster home before being taken in through an unfortunate series of events. Mental trauma ensues... After a while, They don't really allow trust others to know their real name and often keep to themselves. But, they try their best to be friendly and care for everyone else.
Nevertheless, Doctor Eri did take them into care. Sooner or later, a young Gremlin without an unknown name found the home of the 3. Eri, Who wanted to experiment on the Gremlin, was decided against by Cartyr. Who enjoyed the Gremlin and named him after his species. Grem was brought into the house, he sleeps, eats, drinks, and makes sure all the mail is actually mail and not just junk. He's helpful to keep around, and is a good at heart, even if everyone sees Grem as a monster.
And finally, everyone's favorite stuffed, long tailed, cute animals. Chesterfield, or Chester which used to be Rae's stuffed cat animal. However, one day, when he became ripped. She quite literally used animal fur to make his skin stronger. At this time he was inanimate. That was until Cartyr used Chester as a test subject and brought him to life with... slight side effects. Even as a living creature, Chester tends to fall apart, needing more animal to keep him repaired is a doozy. However, Chester likes hugs and comforts sad sad people. All while repairing any torn clothing, furniture, and more in the home.
The house grows everyday, making any day more dangerous for Cartyr to be exposed... However, he hides his problems and doesn't worry to much as he protects himself and others, just as they would protect him. In the end, it's a happy family! A family full of illegal convicts, trauma victims, killers, and creatures... What more could you ever ask for? Let alone need!
