Heading over to the back door that leads to the whole store, she enters. Mindy changes her attitude, as a helpful, well-going worker to give a positive attitude for the shoppers.

The clothes store atmosphere had a cozy feeling, while most of the clothing had warms colors, and 40% of it was the rest of the color pallet. The store's soundtrack had soft music, almost sounding like The Carpenters but instrumental. Good example Superstar By The Carpenters.

There were two check-out desks, both to the right of the store, near the entrance. To the back was the dressing rooms.

Mindy walked towards the cashier's desk to find a basket filled with clothing that the customers didn't want to buy anymore or returns. She picked up the basket and placed it on the desk to sort them out.

"Well isn't it Mindy, say where's your martian friend Mork? Did you have to tell him you'll be back in a couple of hours, and not get attacked by humans?

Mindy stopped what she was doing, and turned around to find Dory standing near the cashiers. Mindy tries not to give a facial reaction.

Dory was one of the older workers in Casual Corner. She was given a position in the back, where the dressing rooms and the storage rooms are located. So the shoppers don't see her as much. Or isn't the first employee they see when entering the store.
Tries to dress her best in modern clothes, but instead, she looks unattractive than before. Heavy smoker, and messy hair in a bun most of the time. Failed to get married and it's very noticeable that she lives a miserable life. But she secretly harasses the younger workers in the workplace, so she won't feel miserable herself that her life is shit.

"Well no, I Didn't, alright!" Responded Mindy, giving a hint of shut the fuck up, please.

Dory straightens up and rose her stature in a manner to show elegance. "How dare you talk back and raise your voice at me?!"

Mindy made a fake apologetic face, "Oh I'm very sorry, I meant; no I didn't, alright" with a nice voice and a contempt smile her eyebrows raised.

Dory stood there with a displeasure mood, from the look of her disgusted stare. "Not sure why you should be here, since you arrived late, you should be fired by now"

Mindy's eyes widen a bit and looked up at the wall clock, and it was past her arrival time. Dory thinks she barely arrived but clocked in 9 minutes before her hour.

'Look who's fucking talking' Mindy thought. "Sorry about that, next time I'll arrive earlier Madam Dory," she said pleadingly.

Dory was satisfied with her poor excuse and apology. Then walked away without a word.

'What a bitch, fucking hag...' Mindy thought, relieved she finally left her alone.

After separating half of the clothes, the manager Mr. Spivey noticed Mindy was already at work, and sorting the clothes that were set aside. Walked up to her, so he can greet her.

Mindy sensed a human presence approaching her, from the sound of soft footsteps on the carpet. She looked up to find the manager Mr. Spivey. She gave a warm smile.

"Oh hello, Spivey nice to see you this evening!" She said bowing her head a bit.

Mr. Rodney Spivey smiled as well. He is a middle-aged handsome man, well suited. Dark well-combed hair, soft, long feathered hair. As if he goes to the disco-like John Travolta, but he's not much of a dancer. A nice tall body. Possibly half Chubby, half muscle. Also 70% leg.
He gives a warm, nice chill attitude to everyone he meets in and out of work. When helping customers he makes them feel like royalty, when shopping for something in the store. He has given hints that he's competing with other clothing stores in the same aisle at the mall. He tries his best to satisfy and help people. Like which clothes are great for them and recommend. 90% of it he succeeded in it. The other percentage well, you got a show of "let me speak to the manager!". Funny stories.

Some of the gals who are also working in the casual corner fell for his charming character and looks. But it's hard whether he is taken or not. So it's still a mystery.

For Mindy, she didn't fall for it, since she doesn't see anything happening between them. Not the type. But is the type of being great friends, since they bumped into each other food court, while she was looking for part-time and when he was getting lunch.

"Hi Mins, how you doin'? Say I didn't hear you come in? Care to tell?" Mr. Spivey said leaning on the table.

Mindy quickly looked around to spot the old hag. Nowhere. "Oh came in at 5:40, there was a bit traffic, but aye made it on time," she said.

"Ah, that's good. Do keep it up" he said "Also, has Mrs. Samuels came in yet? I know you just arrived but any sight of the woman?" Asked Mr. Spivey.

"No not at all, why is that?" Mindy said, with a concerning tone.

"Well you see, uh two days ago, Mrs. Samuels came into the store looking for the new multicolored dress and pants for her daughter's birthday present. Those new ones that were on the way remember.?" Mr. Spivey said.

Mindy nodded "yes, yes I remembered"

"So the new clothes came in, just this morning, and so I've been keeping an eye if Mrs. Samuels has come so she can pick it up. Another reason she mentioned she needs it before this Friday." Mr. Spivey continued.

"Ah well then no worries, I'll help you, Spivey, when she comes I'll give you the word," said Mindy.

Mr. Spivey was relieved, "ah thank you Mins, knew you'll understand"

"Ah, no problem" she responded. But she held that thought. "Wait...why me?"

Before Mr. Spivey went off, he remembered something. "Ah... I'll tell you after work, alright"

Mindy understood. "Oh. Alright"

Mr. Spivey departed from Mindy as he went to go assist a customer. Mindy finishes separating the clothes, to finally go put them back in their place.
