Chapter 24: Facing Emilia

  Once I go near the main room, Bratt just blocked the way in. So I said to him,

"Hey! Get off the way! Why are you supposed to block me anyway?"

"He he. You're dead!" He said as he was holding the knife.

"I said, GET OUT OF THE WAY!!!" I yelled then I grabbed his hand with a knife and I tossed him with quick kick. Until he got me cornered and said,

"Can't get enough?"

"You know, I got something to say to you." I said.

"What?"

"Look over there!"

As he looked behind there is nothing to see but as the time he looked back, I prepared myself to punch him and said,

"Surprise!" And I punched down his face making him unconscious.

"Ha ha ha ha... Got easily be fooled." I said.

As I got finally inside the room, I saw Emilia again but this time it's going to be a difficult battle for the only two of us.

"Now, where is she?" I said to myself.

"Wow. Finally you're now awake." Emilia said while she was holding two sharp knives on her hands. And I suddenly saw one of the girls she took as a hostage, it was Agnes!

"Jelou! Help!" She shouted.

"Agnes?" I said.

"So, wanting to save Dru do you?" Emilia said.

"What did you do to her?" I shouted.

"Jelou, I'm so scared!" Agnes said.

As I was thought about Dru and his family, I easily got mad at her.

"What ever he has done to you? Will you please stop obsessing him out?" I prankly asked.

"Not easy as expected to do some mock proposal from me and my father planned to do with the diamond we stole. And, I make you fooled out of nothing to know about something. 'Am I right?"

"You're the only one who destroyed every reputation of this family had! Also to me."

Then she attacked me first without saying a word. I quicky leaned my head and took her other knife from her hands. We faced again with our sharp weapons straight to the eye.

"Now that I got your other knife, let's play fair fight." I said as I challenge her to fight with me.

"Okay. Challenge accepted." She said as she accepts the challenge.

Now the battle between the crimson girl and the very evil villain begins in a blade fight. We stared each other for a while and we both yelled as the start of the fight. Our knives crashed and clinged as we were fighting. She threw some of her extra knives then I quickly dodged them out. Seeming she was cheating me, I said to her,

"Hey! You're cheating! That's not fair!"

As we continued fighting, I made her bleed her arms and her left leg. When I tried to end her down, she made me bleed first in my right leg. And she stood up and points the knife on me and said,

"I got you now."

"Not yet!" I strongly said as I yelled out. But right Dru came into the scene to stop me. Yet I was lucky that I was not slashed by his knife near on my neck, or else I'll be killed for sure.

"Uncle Dru?!" Agnes said to herself.

Dru was totally in control so he can't even remind everything about his family or me. I looked at him and said,

"Dru. Please don't do this."

Until he answered me this,

"I'm no longer yours. You betrayed me!"

"What?!" I said in shock.

I can't believe my best friend was already forgotten about me. But I know I can save him by remembering him something that is very important. About how much I knew about him. And I won't let him forget it because of his ex-girlfriend who wants to use him for her sinister plan.
