its been 5 months since Monty asked me to be his girlfriend. Hannah told me what happened between her & Bryce. Me & Jessica are really close. Bryce transferred after getting into a fight with Monty. Monty hasn't talked to me since the dance. Two days ago. I was at my locker when he came up behind me. He laid his head on my neck & sighed. "Hey baby girl" I turned around & gave him a kiss. I pulled him into a hug & he hugged me tighter than ever before. His hand was in a cast & his face was bruised. "Monty... what" He cut me off by grabbing my face & giving me a kiss. "not here baby girl. lets skip" We walked out of the doors & got in his car. He took us to the docks. I sat on the dock & he came up behind me. "Happy anniversary baby girl. Im so lucky to have you as mine. You don't understand how much you mean to me." He grabbed my chin & slowly moved my face so i was looking into his eyes. "I... i love you. So much J" I smiled & kissed him. This boy was my everything. "I love you too Monty." He handed me a hoodie with his last name on it. My eyes started watering. I looked at him & he laughed." so i take it you like it." I jumped & said"yes ofc i do thank you so much" i accidentally hit his chest & he flinched."Monty... babe are you okay?" he pulled me close to him. He kissed my temple as he started playing with my hair. He sighed."my dad... hes been going at it again. he broke my wrist. Bruised my face, my chest. everything" I looked at him as a tear slid down his face. I kissed his forehead & pulled him in for a hug. "We'll go get some clothes from your house, you can stay with us for a while." He looked at me. "Are you sure J, i don't want to intrude." I grabbed his face & pulled his head to mine. "Ofc im sure baby." He kissed my cheek & we stayed on the docks until night. He didn't want me coming into his house. As he went to get clothes i asked my parents if he could stay. They said yes. Theyve never met Monty so i thought this would be the perfect opportunity. I heard a knock on the door. I went to open it & saw him. He had his bag, i told him to come in. "Hi Monty, your welcome to stay as long as youd like" Mom smiled. "Hi Mrs. Baker, i hope you & Mr. Baker know this means so much to me. Not only do i get to spend time with the girl i love, but i get a chance to show you guys im a good guy." I looked down & blushed. I took his bag up to my room. "Come up when your ready love" I gave him a kiss & went upstairs. I went to Hannahs room. "Hey bug. Montys gonna be staying with us for a while. Is that okay?" She looked up & sighed. "Yeah J, ill be okay. Its not Monty i hate, Its Bryce." I smiled at her. I walked over & kiss her temple. "If you ever wanna talk im a room away. I love you sis." She hugged me back. "I love you J" Monty came up shortly. I changed into my shorts & my "De La Cruz" hoodie he made me. I laid down beside him & he wrapped his arms around me. We started watching "Supernatural" He kissed my forehead. Our fingers intertwined, i kissed his lips. "Goodnight baby boy" I said " goodnight princess" i cuddled up next to him & we fell asleep.
