-Michael-

"You know maybe life wouldn't be so bad if school didn't start so early."

I open my eyes and look to my left to see my best friend already staring back at me. I sigh and look back up at the sky. I'm currently outside with said best friend, Calum Hood. I can feel him glaring at me.

"C'mon at least answer me. Jeez, what's got you in such a mood?" he asks.

"Nothing. I'm just tired is all. It's the weekend and I want to have some peace and quiet. Is that such a bad thing?" I reply closing my eyes again.

"No but I'm bored. C'mon Michael don't be like that. We're in our last year of school we should be going to crazy parties and having fun! What kind of teenager are you anyway?" he asks sarcastically. I scoff and turn on my side so I'm facing away from him.

"I'm the best kind that does his work and doesn't get drunk every night." I hear Calum get up and he sits on top of me.

"Don't be a party pooper. Someone has to be having some kind of get together today! We should at least ask around and see what's happening. Please, Michael? We never do anything fun." Calum says with a whine. I glare up at him.

"Dude, we are so fun. We play video games and talk about random shit. How is that not fun. Not to mention pizza parties for two." I reply.

"Yeah but we should go experience things!" Calum counters. I grunt and shove him off of me. I sit up and look over at him.

"Stop giving me those puppy dog eyes. We are not going to party, at least not today." Calum's eyes light up.

"You said not today. So does that mean maybe another day?" Calum asks happily. I groan and rub my eyes.

"Yeah, fine whatever, Cal." I answer tiredly. He jumps off the ground and gives me a big hug.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you!!" He cheers. God I don't know why he's so excited. It'll literally just be a boring party with drunk people and loud music.

"I'm going home now." I say as I stand up. "See ya later Cal."

"Bye Michael! Text me later ya dweeb." I roll my eyes at him and begin to walk home. Sometimes I don't even know why I'm friends with him. He's so weird but then again I am too. I finally arrive home and go up to my room. A nap sounds good right about now.

"Michael!!!!" Oh my god. Why me? Of all people why did Calum Hood choose me as his friend. I groan and roll over on my bed to see Calum jumping up and down. He's like a hyper puppy I swear.

"What Cal? How did you even get in my house?" I grumpily ask.

"Your lovely mother let me in." Of course she did. My mom loves Calum. She just can't get enough of his stupid puns and jokes. No matter how lame they are.

"C'mon Ashton says he's having a party at his house! We should go!" he says excitedly.

"Dude, I said another day not later today." I mumble.

"Whatever, later today or another day. What's the difference? Both are in the future. We should go! C'mon maybe there will be some hot chicks or dicks." he winks.

"Oh, dude. Not cool." I groan in disgust. Calum knows I'm gay and he accepts me but he really doesn't need to go that far.

"Please Michael! Please! Remember you owe me one anyway? I took a detention for you when you had that stupid family dinner you couldn't miss!" Calum whined.
