Chapter 3

When we arrive to the beach there was a lot of people there. It was a sunny day and I liked how everyone was having fun and laughing.
" When was the last time you went to the beach Brianna?" He said while we were heading for the boardwalk.
" It's been a while, like a month ago maybe," I said as I admire the view of the beach.
We were walking around the boardwalk and while we were talking I can see he's calm now instead of nervous.
" I just want to say that I'm so sorry the last time we met up, I know I was rude back then and I matured," he said to me.
" Yea it's ok I figured you matured while we were eating breakfast," I said laughing.
He smiled and we got to the end of the board walk, I was in love with how beautiful the ocean was. It went on forever and ever.
" You sure love the beach don't you?" He said while smiling at me.
I responded, "Yea ever since I was a kid, my parents would always take me out here. How I missed those times," I said with a sigh.
I started taking pictures of the ocean and then I get interrupted with a text from my mom.
" Take a pic with Cody so I know you're still with him," she stated.
I rolled my eyes and showed him the message. He smiled and said ok. As we were taking a selfie a nice lady asked if we wanted her to take our picture. We both said yes please and I have her my phone. He grabbed my by the waist pulled me close to him. I can practically hear his heart beat fast.
"Perfect!" said the lady as she took the pictures," You guys are such a cute couple." I looked at Cody and he started blushing. I got my phone back and we both looked at the pictures, they were nice. I sent one to my mom and he nodded his head for approval. We then started walking back and then says, " Oh yea let me show you the view." He said eagerly. I followed him to a cliff and he told me where to step. No one must have found this place yet because it was empty and then we sat down near the edge. The sun started to set and the sky was very beautiful.
" It's so beautiful," I told him.
" Yea when I was younger my friends and I use to come here. A small amount of people know it exists which is the best part." He said while smiling at me.
I took more pictures of the sunset hitting the ocean and it was beautiful pictures. We then realize it was starting to get late and we were both hungry.
" I'll text my mom letting her know we're on our way home," I told him.
As I was walking down the cliff I didn't see where I was looking and I slipped. Good thing Cody was in front of me because he caught me before I cut myself on the sharp rocks.
" You ok?" He said all worried.
" Yes I'm just dumb sometimes," I said while laughing.
He laughed and we walked back to the car. He opened the door for me and when he got in we drove off.
" That was fun," I said to him.
" Yea I enjoyed spending my day with you," he said while smiling at me.
I smiled back but then I felt guilty. I thought I was being too nice to him.
" Don't be too nice or he'll fall for you faster idiot." I said to myself.
As we got home my mom greeted us at the door.
" Finally your back!" She said, " I told the chefs to make you guys a delicious dinner. It's almost done, just head to the backyard and the servants will bring it to you." She stated.
" Did you already eat mom?" I asked her.
" Yes sweetie I ate earlier,"She replied.
As Cody and I were walking to  the backyard he was looking at me the whole time, with a smile. When we get to the backyard it was shocking.
