Weeks had passed and Preeta hadn't heard from Karan. She tried calling him several times to give an explanation of what actually happened, but hell no !! The Karan Luthra was too egoistic to pick her calls, possibly even blocked her. Meanwhile, Karan had decided to leave Mumbai for a few days since he couldn't bear the thought of Preeta marrying someone else. He did not plan on coming back not at least before Preeta's wedding.
Preeta had got engaged to Shiv , her roka, sangeet, mehndi , haldi and other ceremonies had been carried out successful. She began to brace herself to accept that she was going to be Mrs. Shiv Kumar very soon.
At Luthra house.
Karan informed his family about his trip to Pune. They understood him and allowed him to go because they knew he couldn't bear seeing Preeta with someone else.
Rakhi: dear please be careful.
Karan: dekhe ma, bye dadi , bye everyone.
Bani dadi: bye dear, safe journey.
Mahira: bye Karan.
Sameer told Shristi about Karan leaving home . She immediately tells Preeta.
Shristi: di, Karan sir has left Mumbai.
Preeta: kya, kyu?
Shristi: kyu ki, he couldn't bear seeing you getting married to Shiv. He loves you di.
Preeta: Shristi please don't start again , I...
Preeta starts feeling uneasy and weak.
Shristi: kya hua di.
Preeta : kuch nahi, as I was saying , I am marrying Karan and that's final.
Shristi: di you said Karan. ( Shristi bursts out laughing).
Preeta: what why are you laughing. Did I say something funny.
Shristi: you said Karan instead of Shiv.
Preeta: oh shut up, tum pagal ho, crazy girl.
Both share a good laugh uncertain of what their future holds.
Meanwhile, Karan on his way to Pune keeps thinking about Preeta and everything that happened lately. He keeps thinking about Preeta and does not realize when his car hits the headlight of another. He gets down to check the problem.
