Meanwhile on the other side of the gala building a Mei'fwa stared longingly at the gala through a window.
Lila's POV
"It would be so much fun to be able to go to that werewolf gala thingy!", Lila exclaimed. She stared longingly into the window. She watched werewolf couples dancing together. She sighed. "But, Mei'fwa's aren't invited." Suddenly Lila heard a rustling in the trees. Another Mei'fwa, named Opal came out. "Come on freak." Opal snapped.
Narrator
Lila gritted her teeth. "I am not a freak!", Lila snarled. "Yes you are!", Opal snarled back, no other Mei'fwa has cheetah ears or a cheetah tail!" The other Mei'fwa's had been bullying Lila for years because her ears and tail were different. She was born with cheetah ears and and a cheetah tail. They never left her alone. Lila reluctantly followed Opal back. She took one last longing look at the gala as she headed into the woods.
