Gunner stood looking out over the sea with Tie, General, and Scooby by his side jumping around and playing on the morning wet ground. The sun was on its way up, providing a yellow-orange light over the docks. Gunner was waiting for Athena to show up so he could talk to her about what she said before drifting off to slumber yesterday. The picture of her dancing yesterday made him groan for himself. He had required a cold shower after leaving her in her room. He had no idea how one little woman like her could take over his mind so fast, how his whole body told him to look and feel her. He couldn't understand how his natural nature to be quiet and quiet grumpy changed around her. It was like a spell sometimes.

Ever since she had come to this mc, he had held himself back from touching her or even saying something wrong. Gunner didn't want to get hurt, but slowly the walls around his heart were crumbling, and he didn't understand why.

A figure was approaching him from behind. When he heard, he turned around and saw Athena looking up at him in her hoodie and a pair of jeans. He smiled at her when he saw the hangover on her face.

"Never let me drink that much again. I don't even remember how I came to bed," Athena complained, making Gunner laugh a little. Tie run to Athena, circling her and giving off a bark making Athena cringe. Gunner just laughed and began walking on the boardwalk road. The sun was above the sea line sending warmth to both of them. The terrain around them looked green as the summer make things grow. Considering that nobody took care of the plants around here, it was a bit ugly with lots of unwanted plants around the place.

"I tuck you in bed. You were dancing and was beginning to sway a little," Gunner explains, and Athena does an aha-face. Walking with a hand on Tie's head, she looked like she tried to remember what happened.

"Now, when I think about it. I remember strong arms," Athena said and giggled a little at the memory. Athena's eyes were glittering in the sun, her hair that was up in a ponytail looked like gold around her head, and the smooth skin made Gunner long to feel her skin against his hands.

"I hope I didn't ruin your evening," She added, feeling a bit guilty thinking about it that way.

"No, I was looking for an excuse to get to bed myself, so it was right on time," He tells her, ensuring that the event was excellent for him. He looks down at his hands, thinking about how he should approach what he wanted to talk about with her. Gunner sight and decides to get to it as fast as possible.

"But I wanted to talk to you about something," He began looking over at her. Gunner saw the panic go through her. It was like she tried to go back in memory, finding the time when she did something wrong. He stopped looking down at the beautiful woman beside him.

"Before you drifted off to sleep, you said some things. I wanted to speak about it. You said your dad had asked you to run away and to not trust anyone," Gunner began. He placed a hand on her shoulder when she was going to turn away from him. He pushed her a little, so she stood in front of him.
