Athena had been laying still for a few hours in Gunner's embrace. After they made love at the cliff, they had been in each other embrace for a while, enjoying the feeling of each other until it went cold. When they came back to the mc, it had been late, so they went up to Gunner's room and to bed as fast as they could.

Now she had Gunner's arms around her, and she was thinking of how she could get out of them without waking him. Athena felt numb as she refused to let her feelings out. After hours of silent crying, she closed off with a stone face and put on an analytic mind. Athena slowly jiggled herself out of his grip hoping that he wouldn't wake up.

When she finally had come out, Gunner gave out a light groan, turned over, and started to snore. Athena got a heavy feeling in her gut as the tears wanted to come back. She would never hear him snore again. Athena turned her head away from him refusing to look at the loving man and started to look around the room. She was trying to think about something else. It was dark, and the dogs were laying on their beds, giving off heavy breaths.

Athena's feet meet the cold wooden floor, and she bent down, trying to find her things. When she found them, she fastly put them on while tripping over to the door. She needed to come out to the corridor and to her own room to get her things. She had put her bag by the door inside so she could get out of this place as fast as possible.

When Athena stood by the door, she threw a look back at the man she had fallen in love with. One tear was rolling down her cheek as she opened the door and sneaked out. The woman ran to her room and took the bag she had paced days before. Athena walked over to the bed she had slept in for a while now. She started to think about how many times Vic and Natasha had sat there and talked to Athena.

"Dame it," Athena let out when she understood that she couldn't leave without writing something to them. She put the bag down and ran to the drawer to get out a pen and paper. Athena started to write one letter to the girls and then one for Gunner. While writing them, she let her tears freely. Better to let them out now than to have them cloud her vision when she ran away. With a kiss against Gunner's letter, Athena put down the pen and nodded for herself. Now she was ready.

Athena turned away from the letters and took a hard grip on her bag. A heavy feeling was travelling through her body as she knew that she would never meet them again, maybe if her family was alive but when would she know that? She went out of the door and did not look back even once afraid that she would lose her heart and run back. She ran down the stairs and could hear the party still in motion as she passed the door to the bar. She walked by the empty kitchen before running out the main door. A few bikers stood around with sirens all over them, but no one looked over at the girl leaving the territory. No one was sober enough to wonder why their mysterious girl was running in the shadows.

The gravel under Athena's shoes sounded louder than Athena ever could imagine as she walked in the dark and she prayed no one would come up to her. She had come to the entrance where the sign was and didn't want to be stopped now. She stopped by it and looked up at the metallic sign. With a heavy sigh, she took one final step.
