Taejin cuz I was suddenly inspired

This pics talks! Maybe just fiction. But Tae's smile seems a bit pained to me. A bit mocking. Like he's happy, but there's this tone of "Seriously? Now?". I tried to portray it.

Where Tae is a man with a strong personality who has known Jin since high school. They're both rich. Lets just say Jin is a model? and Tae some businessman? A chaebol? Tae has loved Jin since long and Jin knows it too, but they both ignore it. Like their friendship is strong enough not to be broken. Tae has been single since he fell. Jin has been in several relationships, no whoring around tho. None of them felt to Tae like Jin was actually serious with them. Like together forever type serious. Yeah, he liked them, treated them right, got treated right, but Tae never saw 10% of what was in his eyes for Jin in Jin's eyes for them.

Jin's current relationship seems like they gonna get it.(Put any Jin ship you like) And Tae is feeling real sad. Jin doesn't know and doesn't need to know. Tae may be in love, but he has enough control to not let it show that he's heartbroken. Tae should be jealous, should hate xxx(Jin's lover) or at least dislike them, but he can't find it in himself. Yeah, he wants Jin to himself. But that person make Jin the happiest with the littlest things. Tae can see that Jin is falling for them, but he does not let it affect his behavior towards Jin or Xxx. 

Then Jin talks with Tae, like he does about everything, that he wants to stay with Xxx for all his life. Maybe marry them if they want it too. And Tae has seen clearly that Xxx also loves Jin as much as Tae does. So he tries to forget Jin. All the things his friends told him to do since college. A few one night stands, blind dates, getting in a relationship.

 Rather than someone he finds attractive, he asks out someone whose personality matches his (any Tae ship you like). They(I'm using they instead of he or him because the lover can be a girl too) tell him on their third date as a couple that they also have an unrequited love who married someone else. They can stay faithful to Tae and do their part in this relationship, but Tae should not expect their heart.

Tae says that he too and tells them about Jin and they both decide to try and make this relationship work. After some time, both introduce each other to their friends. It feels a bit weird to Jin, to see Tae in a relationship with someone. And like everything else, he shares it with Tae too. 

Time passes, and Tae and Yyy are going strong. So are Jin and Xxx. Except that with Jin's relationship, there is love involved. And with Tae's there's just companionship involved. Jin is seeing the effects of Tae in a relationship for the first time. When Jin calls Tae to meet and although Tae has no work, he's got a date. When Tae asks him which gift he should get for Yyy's birthday. Jin begins to doubt whether his feeling towards Tae are pure friendship or is there love involved. With him being so transparent, Tae also senses the mixed feelings.

Now TaeJin are both a bit confused about Jin's feelings, but all that seems a bit unnecessary. Because even with a bit less time and new priorities, they are each others number one priority. Both would give up anything for the other, feelings involved or not. All is going well when Tae gets diagnosed with a brain tumor. Tae has to go overseas for treatment, but his hopes of complete recovery are less that 10%. Still, he decides to go through the surgery.

With him having a whole ass business to operate, it's gonna take a lot of time to settle things in case he dies or anything. He gets one and a half month top from the doctor to settle everything. He makes Yyy the person in charge of his business(or company). He tells Jin about it, but instead of the truth, he tells him that he has decided to move overseas with Yyy. Jin is obviously shocked and does not approve. What about sticking together no matter what? 

They had promised never to leave each other's side! And Tae just went and decided that he is going to leave. Tae tries telling him that its because of Yyy and Jin says that is pure bullshit. Because Jin has never seen Tae look at Yyy the way Jin looks at Xxx. And Tae finds the perfect excuse. He snaps and tells Jin that he can't do it anymore. He loves Jin too much that its not possible now for him to love somebody else. While Jin is free of it all. 

It was bearable before. But now that Jin actually loves somebody, he cannot take it anymore. And he doesn't think this amount of unrequited love is healthy. So he is gonna take his chance to be with somebody he can think of loving and spending his life with. And its not possible if he sees Jin every week or so. Tae leaves with pain in his head and heart and Jin is left alone to contemplate his choices.

His feelings for Tae are 99% platonic. And romantically, he loves Xxx. But it you remove the adjectives, his love for Tae is greater. It seems like the only way to stop Tae from moving is if he loves Tae back. Or accepts his love. Because losing and letting go of Xxx is easier than losing Tae. He does not know what to do, and the day Tae leaves comes. But due to a problem in Tae's procedures, he has to leave after 24 hrs. 

Jin now sees this as a last chance to make Tae stay and meets him at the hotel he's staying. He had sold his house. When Tae sees Jin, he tries to leave but Jin hurries and backhugs him. Then he tells Tae that he loves him too. He will leave Xxx. He loves Tae so much, he won't be able to handle it if Tae left. That they can date, get married, anything Tae wants. He just has to stay. Not leave Jin.

And Tae, he just thinks of how cruel life is.(Refer to Tae's face in the picture above) How if Jin even confessed to him, it was when he was on the brink of probably dying. He spent his whole life hoping for this, and when he gets it, he can't have it. He turns around and hugs Jin back. They relocate to a cafe and Tae tells Jin that he doesn't have to lie. Jin tries to defy but Tae tells him that he is too transparent. Sure, he loves Tae, but not romantically. 

And if Jin thinks that Tae would force Jin to love him or be happy if Jin lies that he loves him, then he has forgotten everything about Tae. That he would also sacrifice his happiness if that means Jin could be happy. And he might have stayed, but he knows. That Xxx's love can heal Jin. He might not be able to forget Tae but he will learn to live without Tae, happily. By this time, both are crying and Tae just wipes Jin's tears and leaves.

Many, many years later, when Jin dies, Xxx finds his diaries. In which he wrote about Tae. What he wanted to say to him. And Xxx gets mad at Tae. They know it isn't Tae's fault and that anybody might have done the same, but when they remember all the times Jin suddenly went sad, they can't help blame Tae. So they decide to find Tae. And ask him if he was happy? If he could live without guilt? Just how did he feel after breaking a person like Jin?

So, they try to find Tae. How? Simple. They're rich. They hire an investigator and ask him to find Tae or Yyy. The investigator finds that Yyy runs a business empire but there is no sign of Tae anywhere. His death has not been reported yet either. So Xxx just goes to meet Yyy and tells them all the story and asks them if they know where Tae is? So Yyy takes Xxx to another story in their house. There, a man on a wheel chair is present. Yyy tells Xxx that this is Tae.

He got out of the surgery without any major harms. And was ready to go back to Korea and apologize to Jin, but one day, he forgot Yyy's name. It became a serious thing after a bit and Tae got diagnosed with Alzheimers. After which Tae decided to stay there and made Yyy his heir, but in turn asked them to take care of him till he dies. And to not let Jin find out about anything. Then Tae and Yyy got married and now Tae remembers nothing. Is like an imbecile. The only reaction he has is to Jin's picture he kept by his bedside. He starts crying when he sees that but does not respond to Jin's name.
