18. Return

It was now the last week of summer break; Monday. Shinso and Denki were allowed to go places with supervision, and hadn't seen the villains after them again. They had been staying with Aizawa since the second kidnapping.

"I think I'm ready to let you go back to your dorm, crime has been rather quiet, so I'm not too concerned. Although, silence is scary. They could be planning something, so just stay alert." Aizawa said to them that morning, over a cup of coffee.

"Oh great! I've missed my friends- not that staying here wasn't great, it really was, and I appreciate you having us; I just miss my friends, y'know-" Denki explained.

Aizawa chuckled tiredly. "I know, I know. Man, you talk so much I'm kinda glad I'm sending you back-"

Denki frowned. Aizawa rolled his eyes.

"I'm joking. I've actually enjoyed looking after you two." Aizawa said flatly.

"Aww, you actually enjoyed my little loudmouth's company?" Shinso asked jokingly.

"I liked the moments when he was quiet." Aizawa joked.

"So like, never?" Shinso asked.

Denki crossed his arms. "You're so mean," he whined.

Shinso put an arm around the blonde. Denki was pretending to be upset with him; he turned his head away and stuck his nose in the air.

"Come onnn, you know you're not mad," Shinso chuckled. Denki held his ground, driving Shinso to lean his face in close to the side of his neck and whisper;

"You know, if you turn your head away from me like that, you're leaving this more vulnerable.." He said through a smirk, his words coming out and sending hot air down Denki's neck.

"And that's the part where I leave to go play tea party with the child. Please don't have sex again, you're both so loud, I thought you somehow connected your throats to Bluetooth speakers last time." Aizawa said calmly and walked off.

Shinso planted a kiss on his neck, up towards his jawline. He then pulled away, and smiled innocently as if he had done nothing.

"God, you can be such a tease sometimes-" Denki said, flustered.

Shinso giggled. "But you like it, yeah?"

Denki's face went a bit more pink. "No, don't be ridiculous--"

"Then I won't do it anymore" Shinso said, trying to trick him.

"Okay, wait- actually-" Denki started.

"Thought so!" Shinso sang.

"Screw you dude-" Denki said jokingly.

"Later, maybe." Shinso said and winked at him.

"Wait I didn't mean like that!" Denki said and covered his face.

"But you'd still wanna." Shinso said.

"Well.. yeah-" Denki said quietly.

"I know. Now, we should probably get ready to go back to the dorms, yeah?" Shinso suggested.

The two assembled what they had at Aizawa's, and began saying their goodbyes. Aizawa had brought Eri downstairs to see them.

"Hey, sis, you be good for them okay?" Shinso said, and bent down to her level of height. He patted her on the head.

"I will!" Eri said happily.

Shinso smiled at her, and stood up straight. He walked over to his step fathers. He pulled them into a hug.

"Thank you for having us. See you at school next week?" Shinso said.

"You betcha." Yamada said, and hugged him back.

"Just don't tell anyone we're trying to adopt you; cause uh, spoiler alert, you'll be in my class again." Aizawa said and patted him on the back.

"Wait, I am?!" Shinso said happily.

"Yeah. Oh, and Denki, get this; I've requested for all of the students in your class last year to stay in my class, since I know that after all you've been through it's good to stay together." Aizawa said.

"Wait, so it'll be like nothing's changed?! Yes!!" Denki exclaimed and excitedly pumped his fists.

"I hate to admit it, but I hate them less." Shinso said and smiled.

"Good, you'll be stuck with them for the rest of your time at UA probably." Yamada said.
