Shinso's parents are made up, because I don't even know who his parents are, actually I don't think they're mentioned? Also, mentions of abuse in the first paragraph, so there's a tw.

Shinso begun planning to move in with his teacher after summer break. He still had about two weeks left until it was time. He wasn't used to having parents, his mother Seijyo Shinso gave him up once his quirk developed. She felt terrible that her quirk was passed to him, and she didn't want to be in the picture, because she thought he'd be a villain someday, and it would be all her fault because of her quirk. She drank often, and when she was drunk, she would pound him on the chest until he could barely breathe. after going too far one night, leaving cuts across his torso, she decided it was best to leave so she wouldn't do anything else. She felt shameful. His father Asahi Shinso went with her. he was never really home to witness what went down, since his job always kept him. It was quite tragic really, Shinso woke up one day when he was five years old to an empty house. It took him a week to realise his parents were gone. From that day, he looked out for himself, finding his own food, and when his house payments were late, he left before anyone realised he was there, he didn't want to be adopted by some strangers. He lived in a makeshift camp until he could get a job, always hiding from anyone who had the power to put him in foster care; always hiding from anyone who wanted to be his friend, so he wouldn't get hurt. That is, until he went to UA.

Shinso and Denki stopped by Aizawa's regularly now; whether it be for training, to give them updates, or just to see them. Shinso had just gotten back from his fifth visit this week. Denki didn't come along this time; he had a fever, and barely wanted to Get out of bed.

Denki's fever was agonising; he couldn't get comfortable because under his blankets was far too hot, but the moment he was out, he began shivering. His bones were sore, and it discomforted him to move too much. Not to mention fever dreams. He was having horrible dreams and hallucinations, ones that frightened him half to death. He would also occasionally lose control of his quirk, randomly becoming charged with static electricity.

He was half awake, and was in the middle of one of his dreams. His hallucination was of Dabi, he was standing over him and slowly wrapping his hand around his throat. Denki could barely breathe, despite this being only a hallucination. He must've been slightly traumatised from his kidnapping.

Shinso had made his way upstairs, as he had stopped to talk to Denki's friends when he came back. He was close to Denki's room, but he was startled when he heard a loud thud coming from inside. Thinking the worst, Shinso ran to the door and flung it open. Denki had rolled onto the floor, and was quivering.

"Denki! Are you okay?" Shinso asked, running towards him and kneeling beside him. He tried to help him up, but his hands were met with a startling shock. He jumped back, and looked around the room to see if there was anything he could use.

Think, Hitoshi. Think! Uhm.. You need an insulator, what doesn't carry electrical current,, Rubber? You need rubber gloves, like that old Pokémon series where Ash got his Pikachu, he had to use gloves. You need some to get your Pikachu off of the floor,

Shinso ran into the bathroom and looked under the sink cabinet. Sure enough, by the Clorox wipes, there was a pair of rubber gloves. He slid them on, and ran back to Denki. He lifted him up, and put him back on his bed. The electricity running through Denki had died down a lot once he was back on the bed.

"Denki? Are you awake?" He asked, sliding off the gloves. He ran his fingers through His hair, which was standing up a bit from some left over static.

Denki groaned and looked up at him. "Where'd the villain go?" Denki asked tiredly. His voice sounded extremely loud in his own head.

"Villain? What villain? Was a villain here while I was gone??" Shinso asked, panicking a bit.

"Yeah, Ollie, wait no, Donny, or, was it Dabi? Whatever.. Yeah, that dude who was all touchy-touchy, whatever his name was, was here, and he came in through my window.." Denki said, turning to his window, which hadn't been opened. "Wait a damn minute... I thought my window was open?"

Shinso raised an eyebrow. "Was this a dream?"

"Ohh, wait, yeah probably" Denki realised, giggling at his own mistake.

Shinso chuckled, and pulled him close to him. Denki rested his head on his lap.

"Stop being so comfortable.. I just wanna lay on you but you're gonna get sick," Denki said quietly, almost asleep.

Shinso continued to run his fingers through His hair. "Don't you worry about me. Just relax, okay?" Denki fell asleep just after he said this.

Shinso was relieved to finally see him sleeping peacefully again. Yesterday he barely got any sleep at all with all of his thrashing around, and nightmares. Shinso watched his chest rise and fall as he breathed softly. As he watched him, all of the memories he had of him flooded in. It was all clear now what Denki meant when he said "I know you said you weren't interested in making friends, but I like you, dude." "You have the face of a popular guy. You're popular with the laides, yeah? I can tell." Shinso had almost forgotten the things Denki had said to him when they first met. But he could never really forget; it was their first step to getting to this point together. Shinso adored him, and he wouldn't change a thing that happened between them.
