I wake up excited when I remember what I'm going to do today. I just have to keep Pansy away from Draco so she doesn't hint anything about their "meeting" tonight. Then I can do it.

My first class is flying and I make my way out onto the quidditch pitch after getting ready for the day. I spot Draco waving me over and I quickly focus my attention on something else. He left me with Cedric. Who knows what he might have done if Hermione hadn't come to my rescue, that reminds me, Cedric is taking me out today. I groan in frustration and make my way over to Hermione, I'd consider us on friendly terms now.

This is the first flying lesson that I've had at Hogwarts and I'm already dreading it. Everyone else mounts their brooms with ease and mine is still struggling to lift from the ground. I see Harry laughing at me from the quidditch pitch and my anger is set off. I quickly mount my broom and push off the ground. Fortunately for Harry he gets away. As for me however, I've never been this high before and when I look down I completely lose it.

"HELPPPP!" I yell but no one can hear me over the wind that successfully takes my breath away. A strong gust of air blows at me and I attempt to hold onto my broom, but fail. "Someone help" I plead with little to no energy. I feel lightheaded as I fall from the sky and wait for the impact of the hard ground. But it never comes. I reluctantly open my eyes and find myself in Draco's arms.

I stand up and immediately fall back down again. "Raven stay still" Draco instructs, making me want to do nothing more than move just to irk him. But I obey. "Take her to Madame Pomfrey" Madame Hooch demands. "I'll just go on my own thanks" I say "Don't be ridiculous, you'll do no such thing, Mr Malfoy can accompany you". I look over to Draco. "Off you go then" The wild looking professor states, her bright yellow eyes glinting.

I attempt to keep a reasonable distance from Malfoy but my plan is almost instantly  foiled when he wraps my arm around his shoulder, steadying me.  My vision hasn't cleared up yet and everything looks a bit strange, like its spinning very slowly. "Why are you ignoring me Raven?" Draco questions. "I'm not". I state blatantly. "I may not be in ravenclaw but I'm not stupid, so tell me why" he commands "you left me" I reply and identify a flash of guilt betraying his stone cold glare. Draco helps me onto one of the beds and is gone in the blink of an eye.

Draco's POV

Ugh. Why do I feel like this? She gave me the answer to my question and I couldn't bare it.  I was so out of order,  leaving her alone. To fend for herself. Little does she know I stayed behind to make sure Cedric didn't harm her. Little does she know I saw her kiss Hermione. Little does she know that kiss made me feel jealousy stronger than ever before. Little. Does she know that I lo-

No. I love Pansy.

Raven's POV

I wake up after a long rest that Madame Pomfrey suggested would clear my head right up. She was right. Someone enters the room and I hope to see Draco but am utterly overcome with disappointment when my eyes meet those of Cedric Diggory. Here to take me out I presume.

"Raven you're awake! I came here earlier but you were out cold" He exclaims enthusiastically. "What do you want Diggory?" I ask obviously uninterested.  "To take you out of course, Madame Pomfrey said you are free to go" at this he bows down and reaches out his hand. I ignore the gentlemanly gesture and climb out of bed. I catch a glimpse of embarrassment hiding behind his soft features but it is soon replaced with happiness again. Is he actually looking forward to this?  "So what do you have in mind hufflepuff?" "I was thinking maybe we could go to Hogsmeade?" He states but its more of a question than a statement. "Sounds good" I say and he takes my hand as we apparate.
